I started out in Fantasy, did a brief stint in Lit-Fic but as my novel takes shape, I figure this is where it belongs.

Just popping into the forum to say hi!

I might be genre-hopping myself soon. Currently I'm in Lit-Fic, but I'm not sure if my novel is really Mainstream. Why did you make the change?

Hi from another genre-hopper. I guess my story belongs in Historical fic as it's set in 1940, but it's also a bit of a young adult family drama, a bit of a romance... I just call it a character story as that's the important thing. Hello anyway.

Agh, I know what you feel like... I genre-hop like nobody's business. I'm traditionally Fantasy, then I went Parody, into Satire, over to Lit Fic and back to Fantasy again, stopped by Sci-Fi for a while and headed here when that didn't work out. Considering going back over to Parody... that was quite fun. My current plot is pushing for historical fiction. I don't really know anymore. *Sigh*

Writing is like the evolution of some weird octupus. It starts out great, some cool camoflauge, then suddenly it's got eight legs and has stolen your pen and started writing. I wanted to write seriously, but the Plotpus took over and Then There Were Ninja
