If you click over on Fun Stuff you'll fins an option called Word Count Scoreboard. There you'll find a list of all the regions, world wide, and how many words they've written, how many each member of the region have averaged, and how much that region has donated ($$$).
Initially our situation looks pretty depressing. The Elsewhere::Israel regions ranks, are you sitting down? ....... 175th out of 350. Certainly nothing to write home about. (I couldn't help myself.)
Yet when you sort the list by average words per member for each region, we are a respectable 45th! Yeah us!
I have to warn you, the Egyptians (yes they participate as well!) are ahead of us at position 21. None-the-less, I have faith in you. I suggest that over the next seven days we all try to write an extra, say 15 minutes each day! If we all we do I think we can close the gap between us and Egypt considerably!

oh, it is SO on. I jsut realized that what I thought was my primary story arc is in fact just the first step in a much longer story...I"m going to be writing well past november...or cranking it like a mad man over the next 9 days...
