Have also been too busy writing to do much posting, but I'm here, and I'm done! I've hit 50000K and finished my novel (it's a children's novel and wrapped up at 51400K). So, yay!!!!

That's it, then. Did it again, and I sure didn't think I would this year.

Word-count finished. The novel is only halfway done, if that.

I 'finished-finished' on November 24th, with almost 70,000 words this month.

I'm very excited about my novel because not only did it finish where I wanted it to, but I sent the prologue to a publishing company in Winnipeg and they want to read the entire thing once I've finished editing it!!!! (apologies for my misuse of exclamation points, hahaha)

Okay, that was a lie, but I needed to get it out of my system. My novel isn't done. Actually, at the 50 000 word mark, I was writing in the point of view of a brand new character. Hehe. I'm aiming to finish the whole book by the 8th, which I understand is when the TGIO party is.

Only problem is that now that I look back on it (I sent the chapter in on a dare), I really don't have the guts to send in the rest. XP

I did it...

I just broke 50k about 30 minutes ago... What a great feeling can't wait to finish the next 50k and hopefully the novel...

Done, as of yesterday at 10:30. I went in and verified right away, so I wouldn't miss it again this year..LOL

Now I can go ahead and order my goal-prize... ;)

Done as of yesterday. However, somewhere along the way I forgot how to upload and did it twice. Looks like I've written an enormous amount of words in the last day. Yay! Back to normal life, whatever that is.

I still have a couple of chapters to write. I will endeavour to do so before the deadline passes.

I did it sometime around 3:30 am......and immediately validated.

But the book, alas, is not done. In fact, it's the second Nano I've worked on this novel, and it's still not done. The goal is to have it done by NaNoEdMo.

It's freaking epic!

WOOHOO!

I coasted to victory just after the kids' naptime. When they woke, I had only 200 more words to write. So, I called in Barney the Backup and whooshed past 50k, with a few more hundred to spare, because wouldn't that just suck if you wrote exactly 50,000 and then the Nano Word Count Validator told you you only had 49,997?!

I'd say my novel is about 80% finished. I've finally reached the climax of the novel and now it's really quite exciting. (I know that in another context that sounds all wrong, but get your head out of the gutter!)

Storyline is finished, manuscript fairly clean, a little bit of editing and continuity needed but not much else.
