Zombie sex?

Clive Barker had a scene like this in Cabal. The main character in that book was somewhat zombie-like. He was dead and animate at least. He was very descriptive about... the coldness... of everything. I would suggest scanning through that for some ideas. It was in the second have of the book... between 50% and 75% if I remember correctly.

Ga-ah! Humans have sex?

In all serious, though... No, not really. Hrm... maybe the zombie was mistaken for some living partner? Maybe the zombie is just really hot? "Ooo, look at me, my eyeball is falling out" Maybe the human character is a necrophiliac? I don't know, a lot of ways I guess.

Well, there's always the good old Monica Lewinsky method for an encounter. Unless it just absolutely HAS to be coitus.

I can't say that I personally have ever thought of a zombie having sex, but I would suppose if they were able to get smarter and more physical, then the desire would be there. I almost agree with some of the other posters though. I wouldn't know of anyone that would have sex with a zombie on purpose, unless they were a zombie also, or just a necrophyliac.

I would spend a lot of time on the feeling that the non-zombie side of the relationship would have during the act. That way the reader can get the full picture of what that would feel like.

Good luck with this. I know that I wouldn't be able to write it and do it any sort of justice.

The "non-zombie" side is also addressed in Cabal. The idea is that the woman was in love with the guy before he died. He is back and is not a decaying icky thing. He only goes "monster" when he invokes it. So except for things like a lack of a heart beat and being rather cold... he is the same guy. In that instance. If your zombies would appear more human as they are better fed, then maybe.

Otherwise, yeah... the human in that exchange would have to be forced into it, or rather messed in the head.

I totally forgot about that scene in Cabal - awesome idea! Now all I have to do is kill off one of my main characters!

Also - have you people really already made it past 50k? :-o

I had a necrophiliac in my zombie novel. She had her jaw ripped off while trying to kiss the zombie.

Im' shooting for 100K, that's the only reason why I'm passed 50K. Hard work and determination (talk about cliche, LOL). I type pretty fast and have a crazy imagination.

Now that is a challenge. Okay, how 'bout this: the zombie is a woman who had a fling with one of the male characters before she died, now she's been getting enough brains for a while so she kind of recognises him and she's so coherent he doesn't realize she's dead. He convinces everyone to let her join the group because she's okay, she's not infected and all that. Then, as her brain supply starts to deminish she gets a little out of it (which he mistakes for drunkenness, optomistic boy that he is) and they have wild sex for about ten minutes before she goes all praying mantis on him.

I had some good old fashioned zombie sex in my last nano. Of course, they were classic Romero zombies, so the character in this case had to engage in quite a bit of protection (he chained her to his bed, threw a goalie mask over her face, hockey gloves over her hands, and of course he wore a jimmy hat).

Good times.

Let's see. Zombies are defined by their uncontrollable, primal, hunger. Since you're obviously not bound by George Romero's rules, why not expand that to uncontrollable, primal, everything? Uncontrollable, primal, greed. Uncontrollable, primal, wrath and envy. Uncontrollable, primal, lust.

I was going to have my zombies controlled by 3 basic urges - to eat, f*ck, and survive. But zombie rape was too YEUCK for me, so I chickened out, but there is a cold logic to making them wanna have sex. Even if they don't actually breed - they don't gain nourishment from the brains they eat...

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has replied to this thread, there has been some great input. Right now, I am torn... I have 2 options.

I killed off 2 teenage lovers who have no relevance to the story whatsoever earlier - I could certainly have them hooking up and have my main characters stumble across them in the act.

OR

I can kill off my only female character (its a zombie novel, you know the chick is going to die) and have her be really good at hunting brains and have her later find her boyfriend, still alive, and have them get it on. I am leaning towards this angle. I'm thinking maybe she sneaks into his tent and he thinks he's dreaming until she tries to eat his brain.

Any thoughts?

anyway, i totally want to read your novel after you're done with it. and i also want to read Cabal when i'm done with Galilee.

I like that one (but you'd have to know I would).

Anyway, no reason you can't do both. Especially if your hero tries to "save" one of the teenage zombies from the "vicious attack" . . . and then she tries to eat his face.

I would have the zombie lovers fuck right on top of a pile of corpses as they devour their brains. Perhaps the male zombies penis could continuously fall off inside her. Perhaps the severed penis will give the female power when it is lost up in her vaginal mouth. I don't know. Maybe she could suck him off leaving his tool split into many spaghetti like strands from her sharp jagged teeth. She could get even stronger by engulfing his penis. Most guys think with their dicks so perhaps there is a small powerful brain in the head of the tool. This could bring the female to a whole new level of zombiedom.

I think zombie sex would be impossible for a male zombie...unless there was some creative use of rigor mortis.

Well, male corpses get erections if they're laying face down or propped up in a standing position because blood pools in the southern half of the body. Unless your zombies stay dead for an extended period of time before they reanimate most of them should be sporting boners.

Oh god, why did I just work that out.

Other than that, though.... the dead body wouldn't provide any lubrication of its own, now would it be likely to secrete any fresh juices. So the coldness and dryness aspect would be something to note, especially depending on how long the body hads been dead for. I also doubt it would be able to orgasm, which may or may not be a good thing, seeing that an exchange of bodily fluids with a zombie may as well equal infection. Talk about an STD.

This is my take on it personally. I have very little personal experience of this; try googling "Necrophilia for Dummies" for more detail. ^^

You know, this reminds me that odd but hilarious scene in Dead Alive... when two Zombies are about to spawn Selwyn... the fell zombie baby...

Hmm - actually, I'm not sure that there would be any issues with a lack of lubrication:

Human bodies generally begin to decompose within 24-48 hours of death, with the production of Putrescine and Cadaverine shortly thereafter. Ordinarily, it would take a period of days for these and other fluids to begin to be exuded.

In this case, though, with the body upright, and lurching about, it's no great leap to suggest that these fluids (along with blood, due to the internal rupturing of organs, and the collapsing of the bdoy cavities) would flow pretty freely, providing a good degree of lubrication for some time after death.

Much more problematic, I suspect, would be the inevitable prolapsing of the bowels and womb, as gravity and decomposition take their toll; certainly, it would be very difficult to have intercourse with a female zombie who's womb had dropped into the vagina (I guess she could always tear it out in animal frustration :-S)

Have you by any chance been watching the movie Black Sheep? Watch that, then you'll see that zombies having fun in bed is normal stuff! Though i guess the idea may be a little hard to represent.
