Hey all!

Can you believe that it's already TGIO planning time?!?!?! Wow this month can sure move fast. Hopefully everybody is doing well on word count.

So there are still a few hours left to vote for which day works best for the TGIO party. Current options are Dec. 1 and 2, and you can vote for either morning or night as well. If you have a burning desire for another day you can mention it, but right now the evening if the 1st is in the lead in the polls.

We'll be discussing the TGIO party a bit during the weekly write-in at Java Joes. I'd like to get a feel for what is the most popular way to bid November farewell.

So with that in mind, make some suggestions for the party. Is everybody looking for a casual get together or a sit down and celebrate dinner somewhere? Let me know what you're thinking, and we'll take it from there.

If you can't make it to the write in to give suggestions on the party please feel free to make them here. I'l post a new poll with the most popular suggestions in a couple of days.

Looking forward to seeing everybody's suggestions, and to seeing everybody at the party.

Jen

Ok, it looks like we'll be having dinner on Saturday Dec. 1st for our TGIO. Dinner will most likely be at 6. Choices for location are:

Blue Corn Cafe (Near Santa Fe Place)

India House (cerrillos Road)

Izmi (Sushi- St. Michaels)

La Chosa (St. Francis)

The Rooftop (Downtown)

Please vote for your favorite location (leave comment here or vote in the poll on the santafewrimos.org site) and make sure that you rsvp if you're planning to attend so that reservations can be made.

Later!

yeppers, TGIO means thank god it's over

we've had a pretty good turn out in santa fe, and I think we'll see lots of winners.

If you're interested on meeting some people, or just adding a few more words to that purple bar we're having a last minute write in at Java Joes in the rodeo plaza shopping center from 5-7 tonight.

and do you plan to be attending the TGIO? it's tomorrow from 6-8 at the rooftop pizzeria downtown. I'm trying to get a headcount so I can call for a reservation, so lemme know

Thanks

and conga rats

eep, I cannot come to the saturday night revelry, alas! But I hope doing this has placed me on some list where I will get communiques about writerly events in town and more 'mo-related stuff? enjoy! And curious minds want to know: do you know how many people participated this year? I've been following the ever-burgeoning statistic charts.

to get the official emails and notices from this site you need to set your home region in your account profile (go to my nanowrimo and hit the regions part in the sidebar). and make sure that all the check boxes for emails are properly set

Right now the entirety of New Mexico is its own region, but I've got a web page set up for just the santa fe crowd. santafewrimos.org

I'm not actually sure of the number. I know that I read somewhere about the hundred thousandth participant (worldwide) for the year signing up over the past weekend. I know from what I can see that there are over 500 people in new mexico alone, and those are only the ones who have set the region. But for santa fe I don't have any sort of number.
