Are there any other Northeast Georgians out there participating? That is, northeast of Gainesville in Rabun, Habersham, Stephens, White, Towns, Union or one of the other Northeast Georgia rural counties. I see several Gainesville area folks (howdy!), but no one from the rural areas! And I know there's a thriving writers group in Clarkesville...

Well, technically I live in the rural north above Gainesville ;) And where are these other Gainesvillians you're seeing? I must kidnap them for the TGIO party I haven't scheduled yet!

They're here, I swear! I spent about half an hour doing a search of authors from GA in the hopes of seeing ANYone from NEGA on here (where I live, we have a hard time thinking of Gainesville as being part of NEGA) (no offense), but nothing...well, almost nothing, because the one or two people I did find don't seem to be participating, and what's the fun in that? :-)

Are you still in Hall County?

And I must say, WOW! Lots of words...

Isn't that near Lawrenceville??? I'm not too familiar with the Greater Atlanta area (for a reason; too much traffic, too many people).

Yeah, Georgia outside the big cities just must not have a lot of writers. It's disappointing :/ Well, you're still definitely invited to the TGIO party, which will probably either be Sunday the 2nd, or the following Sunday. Still haven't hit on that perfect location (although I suppose if we did it the second Sunday in December, it could be at my new place.)

That's the crazy thing...I know a couple of writers who live here, so I just figured there were many more in the area...or maybe they're just shy. Hehe.

Dunno about a TGIO party. As soon as this challenge is finished, I'm doing a private challenge with a friend of mine. Our goal is to complete a short story to submit to Writers of the Future before the end of the year. She didn't do NaNoWriMo, so she's already started. Of course, she has farther to go to finish her story; I'm about half-way finished.
