Which do you prefer?

Personally, I prefer typing my work. I think faster than I can write, but I think and type at the same rate. Plus, typing is more ledgible, and it's easier to just go back and edit instead of having to re-write.

It's also a heck of a lot easier to get a word count from a program! I'm with you - as much as I enjoy handwriting, typing is more efficient.

My handwriting is getting worse and worse, so it is typing.

Besides, I have graduated from the two or three fingers I used in previous NaNo's to the way you're actually supposed to type.

Typing is faster and easier, but writing is sexier.

Personally, I prefer writing by hand. I find it easier to keep my train of thought (the darn spelling and grammar "mistakes" distact me to no end -- what if I WANT it to be that way huh Microsoft Word!!!), even if my hand starts to hurt after writing for six hours straight.

Also, I find that I just can't correct a typrewritten copy. It seems too final. I end up scrapping it and starting again. If I write by hand, I make corrections as I type. It's longer, yes, but I like it better :)

I never really have a lot of consistent time at any computer so I reckon I'll be handwriting it and typing it up inbetween whenever I get the chance. It's kind of double the work but I think it'll be worth it. At least I hope so. LOL! ^_^
