Alabaster is looking at venues and whittling them down. Hopefully he'll have something in the next 24h.

Will post here when we have a decision.

Well, given that I'm the one who really needs a decision on this due to my rapidly impending departure:

Shall we meet at the Caxton on Sunday as well? At least it removes the concerns of having to go to an unfamiliar place for the majority of you.

I'd be up for a knees up at the Caxton on sunday afternoon/evening, if they can accomodate us.

OK, lets make it definite - we're running out of time here.

Caxton, Sunday...when...6ish? 7ish?

Sounds good. If we say from 6 then people who can't stay out too late canh still have some time there. Our last train home is before 11, but if we're there from 6 we can get lots of talking and drinking and reading done before we have to disappear.

Damn, I might have to be a "no" - what do you reckon, Portsmouth to Brighton to Reigate (making sure I'm back in Reigate by 8pm?)

I'll look into the feasibility of this - if am I there it won't be for long, but I'll try to bring the one paragraph I have containing a dragon! :-)

Where is the Caxton, anyway? I don't guess I've ever been there...

Plumbing emergency means that I'm not going to make this - sorry running water in the flat is marginally (only marginally, though!) more important...

I know I owe Alabaster a pint still for his 25,000th word challenge - so when life is a little less manic I'll be down to Brighton to pay up on this one, Al, I promise!

Enjoy!
