I can not believe I've finished. It's utter tripe for the most part but there are flashes of brilliance amongst the tripe.
I rushed it to the finish today because I wanted to avoid downloading headaches tomorrow and thanks to the weather today I've been fighting the start of a weather migraine.
But it's done in all it's horrible glory.
sorry I can't make the thank god it's over party. My daughter is away at school in London (UWO) and it's her birthday this week end so we will be there celebrating with her. I did talk her into trying nanowrimo and she's been participating too.

Congratulations and happy birthday to your daughter.

(I have one of those pesky weather related migraines as well. I still have about 2K to wrap up the story line.)

Wow! Congrats, Vanyieck and Maybaby! I think we're going to have to change the name of our region to "The Purple Place"!

Don't those weather migraines suck big time. My last couple of thousand words sucked big time 'cause of the damn headache.
Had Swiss Chalet as my reward tonight but I don't dare have the Lindor chocolates that came with it.

I had chocolate for breakfast. :)

And I'll likely go out for dinner tonight with the boyfriend. He's also quite happy I'm done. lol

Congradulations everyone!

I have to admit I struggled a bit this month. Last year I finished with five days left, where this year I had less than 12 hours to spare. That's about as close as I ever want to get. The book isn't finished yet, but I'm going to take a breather for now and then come back later to work on an ending.

But enough of that... I look forward to seeing you all again tomorrow at the Mandarin!

Congratulations, Peter!

It seems to be normal to struggle in the second year of NaNo. Last year I finished on the 23rd, and this year I had to push myself to finish on the 29th. Lots of second-year Wrimos don't finish at all, I believe.

So, good on you! You did it! Whoo Hoo!

See you tomorrow.

Congrats to everyone! And to those still working on it, YOU CAN DO IT!

As for me, I am done my 50K, but as my friend (who hasn't finished 50K yet) points out every time I bring it up, I am not done my story yet. She says it like its a bad thing. I'm just going to enjoy the extra time I get to spend with my characters.

I won't be making the TGIO party. :( But my friends will be partying for my return to reality. Little do they know, I am probably going to be just as far away from reality during the month of December. They can look forward to more hang-out time though, I hope. My goal for the month is now 1 K a day, at the minimum, and a little more during Winter break.

My reward? Nothing. (Well, thats a lie, I'm going to see The Golden Compass on the 7th, but that was pre-planned) but I am going to be rallying my friends into donating with me to the SPCA this holiday season.

Congrats to all! (not sure if I am to be happy its finally over, or sad that its gone till next year)

Congrats! :-)

I have words left to type, but like you, my arms are killing me especially the left one which has been plaguing me for a couple of weeks now.

Good luck with the last goal - I know you will do it.

Same! I never thought I'd make it this far in my first year, and I'm really proud of myself! XD

We all got through the challenges together and by ourselves, so we all have something to brag about after today!
