I was thinking of just taking a bus to the Root Division, unless it isn't accessible by bus...(I'm not familiar with that area of the city just yet)

root division is on 17th street near van ness. the 49 mission and 14 mission drop off a block away, as does the 22 fillmore, the 33 stanyan, and the 53 Southern Heights. the 16th street BART station is also close.
parking in the mission on a saturday is a pain in the you-know-what.
i'm taking the bus.

The 22 eh? I'll do that. I was going to do the 24(?) Divis and hike the rest of the way, but that is even better.
