I've just written an article about my first experience of Nanowrimo and how I used it as a tool to write the misery memoir I'd been avoiding for two years.

Here it is: http://www.asax84.dsl.pipex.com/

Well done on reaching 50,000 words!

No need to put quotes around the word cheating - by copying in diary entries and emails you did blatantly break the rules and cheat!

But who really cares about that? You got what you wanted out of the experience, it made your life that tiny bit better, and that's what matters!
