THIS IS THE UPDATED SECTION!!!!!

The party below will now be at the PANERA in the Tustin Legacy shopping center at Jamboree and Barranca. It is still at 8, you should still bring an excerpt if you're brave and I'll still be wearing the Brightest Shirt Ever (it can be Seen From Space!) - but it's just now at Panera. Got it? Good=)

=======================================================================

So, if that wasn't confusing, this is for the Saturday TGIO (not to be confused with the Friday TGIO, which I shall also attend, but any excuse for a party=) - so let's get to the details!

When: Sat. Dec. 8
Where: The L.A.B. in Costa Mesa
directions and info available at: www.thelab.com

There are a couple of open areas there for hanging out - I'm going to wear the Brightest Shirt EVER so I'm hard to miss - and there will be name tags to distinguish from regular visitors. So just head towards the open space in the middle and look for a crazy bright shirt.

Any questions? Let me know!

(Also, for those of you who were looking for TheHarlequin's party, that's been postponed until further notice - hopefully this works for you, too!)

I'm a little bit confused...I know for sure there's a TGIO on Saturday at the LAB because you said so :) But I also heard there was another. Or others. You mentioned one on Friday? And I think I remember reading something about an all-orange county one hosted by Erik, but it merely says "more details to follow." Is that the Friday one?
Could someone please post all the TGIO locations and dates? Thank you so much :)

There are two parties - one in Orange on Friday and one in Costa Mesa on Saturday. The party at Erik's house was the Saturday party but got moved to a public venue.

The locations and dates are located on the calendar and on the bottom of the thread listings for the O.C. forum=)

Ooh, and congratulations on your purple bar! XD

I'm still working on what should happen in the event of rain. Any ideas?

Thanks :) congratulations on your purple bar too!

By the way, do you know exactly when and where the TGIO on Friday and Saturday is? Do you know where in Orange the Friday TGIO will be located? And what time (for both)

Sorry for asking so many questions. I'm a bit confused about it all...but anyway, thanks again :)

So...... I don't know why the site did this, but according to the forum, the party posted as being in Orange says it's in 3 days, and the other party says 4. I thought that meant there was a party on Friday - but because it was listed as all day I guess it turns out to be the same party? I think this is where the confusion is.

SO there is just the one party then? On Saturday?

Malrighty then, this the official one, or we still going to turn up like the hobos some of us -sneeze- are at some as-of-yet-undecided place previously to be Erik's house?

I only just recently heard this. Not entirely sure where to move it. My thoughts were the Panera in Tustin/Irvine at Barranca and Jamboree (same center as the Borders). It's pretty big and can probably accomodate us - only real downfall is that it's not a very interesting space but there's food, beverages and a lot of seating^^

I also e-mailed the L.A.B. to see if they think the space is still safe from rain - though I wonder too if people would rather not be outside in the rain?

Outside in the rain...um, nope, not me...and certainly not Leighanne if she were to come with me.

Did I pass Panera in the driveway coming down to the Borders parking lot? I don't remember.

So...we should bring jackets and umbrellas, but the TGIO on Saturday at the LAB is still on? It starts at 8:00, right?

I think Sherry's point is valid - it will be kind of a miserable time being outdoors, even if not actually getting rained upon.

I'm open to suggestions, but my best two would either be Panera or the Grand Californian. Panera is more central located, has food but is harder to mingle. Grand Californian is pretty, large but is less convenient and we'd be a little sketchy walking around with nametags (though they wouldn't care). I'm genuinely open for suggestions.

Where is Panera? Is it still the same time, though?

Yeah, it'll still be at the same time.

Panera is at Jamboree and Barranca in the shopping center. It's technically Tustin but it's more like Irvine as it's right on the border.

OKAY! It's now at Panera because of rain - I'll send out the regional message - more info in the first post!

You do realize that Panera closes at 9PM, right? A one-hour TGIO party?

It closes at 10=) And if the festivities continue, we can always head to Borders - they close at midnight^^
