Well this sucks. Now I'll just have to pay for a copy myself.

It does suck. I was planning to finish last year's novel for this. I guess I have more time for editing if I'm going to operate under my own deadline rather than LuLu's. (Then the only worry will be that someone might actually read it. Eeep!)
Some folks around here used the LuLu offer last year, right? How did they turn out? Show off your beauties.

I used the Lulu offer last year and it turned out great! I didn't realize they print it exactly as you give it to them lol, which is why I have no page numbers lol. It's so great though having it on my book shelf. My sister had come by one day and I showed it to her and she couldn't believe I wrote all that in a month :D.
Hopefully they do it next year.

It was GORGEOUS. I'm willing to pay the money to print a copy myself. They're good quality, my only beef was that since I had a mostly black cover, fingerprint mania... heh. I don't have a picture because I still don't have my old harddrive back. -_-'' Ah well.
But yes. Lulu is worth the 11 dollars or so you'll pay to print your book. They look entirely professional, they're good quality, and as long as YOU spend some time formatting the inside and designing your cover, you'll have a great book.
