Make sure to add K-W as your home region by going to your My Nanowrimo tab and clicking on My Regions. Under the Regions tab at the top, find us on the list and click Join!

Hey everybody, due to the wonderful database crash I have to repost this. Isn't that spiffy?

Well, we all know that in the these three counties are some pretty small towns, but just because we come from small towns, doesn't mean we don't have big ideas!

I thought that Brantford would make a good central meet up point for write ins, but suggestions are always welcomed.

So, come on in and do the good ol' WriMo role call. You know you want to.

My name is Kassie. I am a second year journalism student attending Wilfrid Laurier Brantford. I'm basically studying to get another major in English as well...so you know, it's not like I don't have enough writing to do as it is though, right? I'm a sucker for punishment though. This will be my third year doing NaNo and I fully intend to win this year. Especially since it's the 10th year and all.

I have a roommate who is also a rabid NaNo enthusiast. I will have to drag her to this thread to re-introduce herself. Haha. We're currently posting flyers all over campus to get awareness and interest in NaNo up. So, if you happen to attend WLUBrantford and see us around, I thoroughly encourage you to come up and say hi!

We don't bite. Much.

Hey there all you writerly types living in the Royal City! I've written the NaNo gods asking them to give us region status for Guelph. No word yet on whether or not we'll get that for this year (the OLL is a bit overwhelmed with the task of trying to get their servers back online at the moment, I imagine) but I know that Guelph is worthy of its own region, and we certainly don't need official recognition to gather locally and plan our own events. So... if you're a Guelph Wrimo looking to meet up with other Guelph Wrimos locally, post a response here or drop me a PM and I'll set something up.

Wow - hard to believe it's been a year already.

So, where are people at so far? I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. I've been so caught up with finishing the novel I'm currently writing, I haven't had any brain cells left to even contemplate starting a new one. When I'm not struggling through my final chapters, I'm procrastinating, doodling poems or mindless ramblings, just to keep those lazy neurons firing.

We should really try to have a Peterpatch NaNo launch party this year. What say you all? What's everyone up to on Nov. 1st?

Hey! Is anyone from Oakville still around this year? I know we had a fair number last year. And I'd love for someone (not me because I'm too crazy, and lose track of days) to organize things again this year so we could have meetings. Crashing the Toronto events is fun, but it's a bit of a drive, so... anyone interested? (not necessarily in spearheading the organizing, but in meeting at all)

Or should I be listening for echos?

okay I know you are there lurking... let s do roll call! and hey you update your website links... some (well the one I checked ) are working... tell us what you are planning to order at Chapters Starbucks and maybe one of us should go reserve the Community room... tell us if you have had major life changes in the last year, fess up as to why you didnt follow through on your promise to set up a TBay writers forum (ok ok I will do that one) and mostly divulge a fear of this whole process, and maybe a hope or two

Hey all in the Cambridge area! We have our own region forum now. While I encourage everyone to post in the Cambridge forum, I'd also recommend checking out the Kitchener/Waterloo forum, and, of course, the Elsewhere forum as well. I'd expect there to be threads in all of those that might be of interest.
