Dares of CO SPrings

So, this is like the normal dares forum, except it's for our region specifically and therefore a little more applicable. For those unfamiliar to the process:

1. Post dares of things you want people to include in their novels.
2. Accept several of the dares yourself and post which ones you've accepted.
3. Acquire points! (They don't matter, just a personal record thing)
4. If you get stuck, look at a dares forum to stimulate your brain.

So, my dares:

Include a physics-defying character named Pablo
+kill him off several times
++have him see himself die several times
+give him purple eyes and orange hair

Include a freak trombone incident

Interesting reading for the upcoming Nano

I haven't read "No Plot, No Problem" yet, but hope to soon. I do have Jack Bickham's "38 Most Common Fiction Writing Mistakes (And How to Avoid Them)" and I thought it was great. Of course, it is more for after you actually have a rough (and mine are oh, so very rough) draft, but it was still very interesting. Any other suggestions as we gird our loins and prepare to be caffiene-ized for the month of November?

I know this was a very active topic last year, and as Samil and I have already digressed into it in the Introductions thread, I decided to create it right off the bat. Kick Off Party

I know it's early in October, but I think we should start thinking about the Kici Off Party so every one can have a definite date a few weeks before it happens to make plans and all. *random thought* Does anybody know were our ML's or RM's are? Or if we have any? becuase I haven't seen one on yet. *end of random thought* So ideas for a place, time, or day? I know we usually hold it at Panera Bread, but does any one want to switch it up a bit?
