This doesn't relate to writing, and it's probably a bit cheeky my posting it here, but some of you might be interested.
The London Concert Choir - yours truly somewhere in the bass section - are performing Beethoven's Missa Solemnis (Mass in D) at the Barbican on Thursday March 20th. Barbican concert page.
It's going to be good. We're really getting into it now. The deer-in-the-headlights stage is over and we're having fun and making music.
So come by and enjoy some of the finest music ever written by a deaf person.

Jane said she saw you and Lily there. I PMd her to say thanks for coming, but I don't think I copied you. Er, thanks for coming ;)
It went pretty well, in fact. There was a good crowd there--apparently there was a surge in ticket sales towards the end, so we had about 2/3 capacity, which for an amateur choir at the Barbican isn't too shabby. We sang well, didn't have any major cock-ups, and everybody seemed to enjoy it.
