I need help with my romance that I've been writing lately. I have thought of some, but they don't seem to fit with my story.
My novel is about an 17 year old high school student who falls in love with her 25 year old math teacher. He falls for her also, it tells about the process about it and how they must keep it a secret. The problem is that her ex boyfriend has found out and is obsessed with her. He doesnt know that its the math teacher but knows that she has moved on. He will do anything so that no one can have her except him, someone end up dying in the end....
Its better i just did kind of a messy description there, sorry.
Any ideas for a title??
Thanks!

Personally, I'd make the girl a bit older. Like LEGAL age. And make the lover NOT her math teacher. Geez.
This kind of stuff hits the news all the time, teacher and student relationships. These are illegal if one party is underage, and against the law in some places and definitely against policies and ethics EVERYWHERE for a teacher/student to get into a relationship at any time. It is the same with therapists and patients, doctors and patients, bosses and employees, etc.
Think of the implications. It's not love. It's control.

I agree with Susabelle, it might be better to focus on a darker title than a happy-go-lucky one. Perhaps something to do with the ex boyfriend's jealousy? Include some math vocabulary too, so it ties in with the others.
Unfortunately, I'm all out of ideas for names, but I'll pop back in if I get a few good ideas. Best of luck.

The only thing I can come up with is The Product of Two Negatives...

I Wish I Were Your Derivative so I Could Lie Tangent to your Curves.
Or "Tangent to your Curves". Is that too cheesy pick up line?
