I spent all my holidays watching horror movies, and thus decided to make a novel on doves attacking everything. I thought, why not go against all stereotypes of doves, and have this story about a geneticly violated, phsyco dove, which kills people and other animals. Though i was thinking, would it be more entertaining to have the dove not killing, but biting the victims, and that the victims then become phsyco too, and go around biting other animals and humans too? Either one.

It'd be difficult not to make it into a comedy, especially since there have been so many parodies of "The Birds." That said, if you can pull it off, zombie-like doves could be rather, well, interesting, to say the least.

And the fact that the zombie virus (or whatever it is) would be transmitted to people.

Kinda like the bird flu. Is that what you're thinking?

NightWynde's right, though - it would have more potiental as a comedy than as a horror. Maybe comedic horror? If you can pull it off, more power to you! :D

I'm seeing a lot of potential mixed in with an event like a wedding, a hippyesque music festival - or maybe even a peace conference?

God knows. Could be brilliant, but you'd have to be strict at maintaining whether it would be serious or comical and how much you'd sway towards each choice.
