I need quotes to print and put up around my computer. Writing related or not. Just things to get the mind working. I'd love to have some from other NaNo'ers.
Either your own words, or something from a favorite author.
I have these two I enjoy:
"Do you think we're crazy?"
"Lord, I hope so. Sanity is such a bourgeois state of being. It's for those people with no creative imaginations. Reality is too cumbersome a thing to be stuck with for too long." Karen Keast (dialog in one of her novels)
When you're falling off the cliff, it's too late to wonder whether there might have been a better way up the mountain. - Terry Pratchett Sig line on NaNo from FireThistle
(I know it doesn't necessarily relate to writing but it's just an awesome concept. Maybe a theme for future book, mmmmm.....)

I've got a few...
'We, Soldiers of a different sort,
We, wasters of ink and page,
We, warriors of words,
Masters of melancholy,
Harlots of the pen,
We bleed these volumes,
and expect only absolution.'
- Jarvis Black
'Be yourself. Above all, let who you are, what you are, what you believe, shine through every sentence you write, every piece you finish.'
- John Jakes
'One writes to make a home for oneself, on paper, in time, and in others' minds.'
- Alfred Kazin
This one isn't specifically a WRITING quote, but I think it applys to NaNo anyway!
'Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.'
- Theodore Roosevelt
But... yeah... hope that helps you out a bit!

It helps me to write a lot so hopefully it'll do the same for you.

On Stephen King's ON WRITING book-jacket, it says...
"If you don't have the time to read, you don't have the time or the tools to write."
He also says, "Reading is the creative center of a writer's life."
"...plotting and the spontaneeity of real creation aren't compatible."
"I tried never to come right out and say 'Annie was depressed and possibly suicidal that day'...If I have to tell you, I lose." (Annie was from his book Misery.)
King says second drafts are for developing symbolism and theme.
"Once your basic story is on paper, you need to think about what it means and enrich your following drafts with your conclusions.
My favorite..."What I want most of all is RESONANCE, something that will linger for a little while in Constant Reader's mind and heart after he or she has closed the book."
Hope you enjoyed these KING quotes.

This doesnt really have to do with writing, but I always find that whenever I feel like I'm stuck or can't write anymore, I use this quote:
"I'll get there alive, even if it kills me."

There is a thing called a Quotationary. I have never regretted the nine bucks I spent on mine. It is very large with a nice selection, easy reference... You can usually find one in the bargain or reduced prices section of a bookstore, like a Borders or Barnes and Noble (where I got mine). Here's an Amazon link. I highly reccomend it to everyone.

But, anyway. Here are my favourite quotes, possibly of all time.
"If we could read the secret history of our enemies, we should find in each man's life sorrow and suffering enough to disarm all hostility." -- Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
"I'm begging you, let me work!" -- Osamu Tezuka's last words

"Keep writing. Keep doing it and doing it. Even in the moments when it's so hurtful to think about writing."---
