You told me year 2 was the hardest one to finish, but I never was much for listening to ya Tresa. Any ideas for the kick-off party this year?

Greetings! I'm Becky, and since I've failed NaNo spectacularly the past three years (the first time under a different user name), I decided that this time 'round I would become a more active member of the community, and see if that helps. No longer being a student may also up my chances of completion. This year I'm writing a pretty straightforward romance novel, which is a change for me. Usually I go for fantasy.

I look forward to getting to know you all!

Hi, Mary here. Don't know if I will be writing or not this year, with my soon to be 6 month old boy taking up my days and lack of sleep taking up my nights. If I do, it will be fantasy, as usual!

Oooooh! Give him a kiss for me. I'm writing fantasy this year too, a strange and unusual genre for me. Usually I'm scifi, total hard core. This year should be interesting to say the least. Well, you can always hang out with us even if you don't write, though it would be an awesome challenge if you tried this year.

This is my third time doing NaNo and my first time I reached fifty, so I hope it's just the second one that's always the hardest. :P My story, I don't even know what genre I would stick it under.

I am sorta new to this, I found this out through one of my friends. This is going to be my first try at NaNo. I hope I can get it done being a procrastinating University Student and all.

Hello, everyone! I'm a State College resident no longer in school, so I'm hoping (fingers crossed) that I can complete it this year. I last successfully completed it my freshman year of college, a long five years ago. I've given it a few half-assed attempts subsequently, but to no real avail.

So we do! I aim to expand and encompass everything in my grasp. Muwahahahaah *cough*

On that note, if anyone thinks the Google calendar function would be useful, let me know and I shall get right on that.

It has been brought to my attention that we have our own forum, so if you guys would like to head on over there and register yourself to receive my loffly emails, feel free to do so. Eventually this thread will be moved over to that forum so that our shenanigins will be kept in Happy Valley.
