Hi Anne! I usually head to the Arlington write-in's, haven't known of much going on in FW ever. We did write-in's at that one coffee place (that is now gone/reopening in some other location) a few years back though.

I mentioned somewhere on these threads that I"ll be at the Flying Saucer some nights writing and drinking - if you're of age you should definitely come on out! The atmosphere is great and there's free wifi!

What places do you have of interest this year?

I've been there once; wouldn't mind saying "hi." If I can figure out how to get there. Confounded downtown labyrinths.

Hi Anne (and all),

Since the 4-Star coffee shop is closed now and the downtown store isn't open at night, I will be hosting weekly write-ins on Tuesday nights in Fort Worth at the Panera on University from 6 until 8:30 (or whenver you decide to leave.

thanks,

Virginia (aka: Backagain)

Howdy to the other Fort Worthers around here!

Panera is a great place to write. Yummy food and free wi-fi, in case you need to do some research. I'm definitely planning to attend write-ins there. :-)

I play board games at the Borders next to Central Market (I-30/Hulen)
on Tuesday nights from 7-close.
Probably in November I'll be there from 6-7pm doing some NaNo input.

Richard.

Hey Richard, it's Ed the Machiavellian. I didn't know you're doing NaNoWriMo-great to see someone else taking the plunge too. Best off luck on the novel, and remember, don't sit to the left of Michael in Medici :)

Hi, Ed. I think it would be *really* Machiavellian if we somehow took over the Fort Worth Gamers and made them all participate in NaNoWriMo during November. :-)

Richard.
