Hi there! My name is Sarah and this will be my 4th NaNo. I'm in Bonney Lake and am super excited for November to get here! It's my favorite time of year. Any season that includes apple cider, colored leaves, cold weather, storms and NaNo has to be wonderful!

Who else in Pierce County is participating? :)

Good luck to all!!!

Hey hey hey!
I'm down here in Orting, and still trying to get the hang of this website. I started last year, but as life took a series of 90 degree turns and my brain turned to goo.
I keep getting glimpses of storylines, but none of them are meshing together for a cohesive story. I have a notebook I am going to write down my ideas and hopefully the commen thread will make itself apparent.
Woot!

I'm Stephanie, on my fifth NaNoWriMo. I sort of straddle the lines between the Tacoma and Seattle groups here in South King County. Whichever meetings are closer to my house tend to be the ones I go to. I could be more loyal, I suppose, but I can't help it :)

I don't blame you. Every minute in November counts. Extra minutes driving could be extra minutes spent pounding the keys. :)

I'm in the process of moving to Puyallup from Alaska so I'll either be joining in around here or Seattle...not sure. I still don't know where anything is so hopefully I figure it out before November!

Hanging out here in Tacoma, also writing by night....course it helps that my days off are during the night....

And depending on how busy it is at work, if my patients are sleeping I may be doing some writing there.

This is my first NaNo. I feel a little intimidated - am I going to be able to do this? :)

Hi, I'm Linda. I'm old but not ancient. This is my 1st NaNo. I live in Tacoma near Wright Park..
I love Tacoma and maybe I'll set my novel in it.
I'm kind of nervous but I'm ready.

Allo! I'm Tom, and this will be my third year doing Nano. I'm in Tacoma, and will be going to the Mandolin as I have for the past few years, provided there's going to be meetings there. Glad to see people gearing up for this coming November!

I'm at UPS. This is my second NaNo, and I intend to get more than 430 words out this year!

Hey, it's great to see someone else on the boards from Bonney Lake! I just posted in the Elsewhere forum about possible write-ins in the Bonney Lake/Sumner area; I hope you consider it.

Yay for Bonney Lake power! :) I went to the kickoff party last year in Tacoma. I couldn't participate in the write-ins though last time around. I hope to be able to go this year.

Well, quite simply, the meetings are about writing with fellow Nano'ers! :D I for one love going to them, and hope to go to more than a total of three this year.

I'm Amanda, from University Place, and this is my third NaNo. Whee!

My semi-permanent plan is to keep with the "band" theme of the last two years and write a sequel to my novel from last year. I've already started making notes, double whee!

I'm Adrienne in South Hill/Puyallup. This is my fourth NaNo - I won last year! I am looking forward to another WIN. I have my idea and am doing some research now. I've started making notes here and there.

I am up for write-in's as long as they're close. I have a friend in Bonney Lake that will be joining me this year in NaNoWriMo so write-in's in Bonney Lake may find me there.

Looking forward to the kick-off party....by the way, when is that anyway?

Hey!

This is my second nano. Not sure what my novel is going to be about yet. * Sigh * Guess I should start thinking about that, huh?

I had a lot of fun last year, and hope this time around it will be just as great!

See ya all around!

I'm Birgitte, also from University Place. (Hi Amanda!)

Also HI to the Tacoma people. I love living in Tacoma too (even if I'm technically out of the city boundaries). Going downtown today in fact to try out a veggie restaurant there. LOVE Black Water Cafe. We need to make that the hang out. Well, same coffee as Mandolin Cafe, but they make the drinks better at Black Water for some reason. Atmosphere not as nice either...but at least for the month of November it's about the coffee. The more the better!

When you guys meet do you just get together to write and chat? I work from home so I'm available for that kind of fun stuff.

This is my first NaNo. I'm one of those people who've convinced myself for years that I could never take the time to do this. That's why my novel isn't finished! No more excuses!

Looking forward to meeting you guys and supporting us all to kick some NaNo butt.

necessarywriter, usually there's a ton of writing with conversation, a tiny bit of procrastination, and a lot of coffee drinking. I already can't wait for November to start...

This is all so exciting! It's my first year here at NaNo. My friend down in Arizona told me about it. I'm technically getting something of a head-start in planning my novel, is that okay?

Oh, I live down in Spanaway btw. And I'm attending Pierce College. <3

I am in Edgewood, which is on the North Hill of Puyallup just south of the King County boarder. I have written plenty for myself in the past, but this will be my first Nano. Hello everyone.

This'll be my fifth NaNo (maybe I'll win it this year, haha) and I just moved up to Tacoma from LA a few months ago. I live in Ruston, specifically. Right near Point Defiance.

Yeah, who organizes the kickoff parties and writing times? BTW is anyone staying up all night to write? Bertolino's coffee shop by the Tacoma Target is open all night - I think I'll be there quite a bit if anyone else wants to stay up. I do have nights that I'll be working, but if I'm not, I may be there fairly often. :)

Hey! I'm Ruth, currently stationed at Fort Lewis. This is my second NaNo, but I'm hoping, as was said earlier, to get farther than 430 words. This year I seem to have way less going on, so there is hope! Have a vague story idea and everything... now if only the disturbingly detailed culture/society would settle down so I know what I'm dealing with. Ah well, I've got all of November to figure it out, I guess.

I'm Kit, this is my second year. I'm in Tacoma, almost Lakewood. I can't wait for it to start, I didn't finish last year but I've got a LOT of writing to get done this year.

I'm in University Place and this is my fourth year of attempting to not hit the wall. I'm getting farther with every try, but that writer's block just kicks my butt.

I'm moving back up to Washington on the 29th, lived there for 9 years. Going to be in Puyallup and this is, if I remember correctly, my 4th NaNo.

My third time doing this, just moved into the area and recently embarked on a career as a freelancer. Looking forward to meeting folks! I live about 5 minutes from Wright Park, always looking for fellows to work with and bounce ideas off of.

Hi. Darlene, a.k.a. Trilli, here. I'm in Spanaway. Last year was so fun, I can't wait to get started this year! Looking forward to meeting you all and writing with you.
