Is there anyone speaks English in the Bitburg/Trier area and would like to participate in a write in or two sometime during November?

Peggy,

Frankfurt is closer than some of these places, lol, =D

Do you know of any kickoff parties or write-ins in Frankfurt?

I do not. And god knows I have searched high and low on the internet (my fingers bleed from googling) hoping to be invited to countless nanowrimo events in my area- all in vain. But we could organise a write in or two ourselves- i have 2 other nanowrimoers here at my place of work so we are 4. 5 perhaps as I found another frankfurtian nano under my Frankfurt topic. We could meet in cafes! We could eat cake! We could write huge chunks of text and typos....There are many cafes near the main train station in frankfurt - what do you think? All we need now are some dates and a place. Place is easy - its a big city so the question is when?

I sadly cannot do a kickoff party (even if there was one) (which there is no sign of) due to thoughtless boyfriend having a birth date at that exact time...I work full time but could be in Frankfurt by 4:30 pm at the earliest on a weekday- weekends no problem- i live there. See what you think, peggy

I too will not be able to get to a kick-off party as I am planning a day trip that starts at 2am on the 1st and lasts until midnight. I would love to meet up for a write-in or two. I'm not familiar with the Frankfurt area but I have the almighty GPS so as long as we can find a place with parking and an address, I'm good to go =D Weekends would be best for me since my husband would be home and could watch our daughter while I escape to write but find out what would be best for your coworkers and I'm pretty sure we could find a way to make something work!

I'm going to send you a nanomail message with my email address so you will have that should the servers go out again or if you want to get in contact that way to establish a place to meet!

I live near Stuttgart, am English-speaking and will be writing in English. If you're planning write-ins in this area, I'd love to tag along. :)
