Yeah, I know, I already posted this, but it was deleted and I'd rather not miss a chance to meet new NaNo-ers.
So, anyone out there in Clallam County?

Anyway, hi there, nice to meetcha.
It really bites, because everyone else who seems to be doing NaNo locally is at least 20 years older than myself. Haha...

Maybe you go to school with my daughter. lol. Ah, small towns!
Anyway, I am willing to hostess Sequim meetings again.
They turned out fine before...before...that year I actually accomplished something.
So, should I do this again this year, I DO want to accomplish something again.
The meetings really kept me shoving forward
It would be neat if you all in Port T.
Could make it over here. I enjoyed the meeting I made it to.
I can't drive at night. and dang it
those other meetings over there y'all had sure sounded fun!!!
Course, one I recall, you did have to be over 21.

I'm 16, but I hate telling people that right off the bat because then they stop taking me seriously. Until I tell them my IQ, but then I feel like I'm bragging. =/
My name's Marissa.
Ooh, and that's awesome that you will host stuff in Sequim. I'm gonna be done with my 50k between the 5th and the 7th, but I am gonna keep writing for the rest of November, so I'd love to come to stuff. What sort of stuff are you talking about? And what's your daughter's name, by the way?

we have to do a kick off
hummm Mondays the 27th and Sat is Nov 1st
so maybe a Sat afternoon kick off on Nov 1st?
Say 1pm?
everybody bring a munchie to share or something
and a notebook (at least)
we have the wood stove and the beverages and a munchie and the maple leaves and plenty of parking
most memorable munchie ever brought:
chocolate cake with raspberries to spoon on top and whipped cream to dress it up even more
some things are never forgotten!!!
those interested go ahead and PM me for more info and directions!

Nononono, not on the first, I beg you that.
I will be writing like a zombie all day. All. Day.
Howabout Friday, the day before NaNo? Then we can all kinda prepare together, share last-minute good-lucks...

S.M.-- I don't think there's much of a problem with people not taking you seriously here because of your age. We do, after all, have rather a lot of participants in the younger age brackets. (Also, for that matter, in the higher IQ brackets. ;-> )

I was just referring to the fact that everyone is thirty or above but for one person whose genre I can't stand or relate to at all. XD

Oh. Everyone in Clallam, you mean? I'm pretty sure we had one or two PT high-schoolers last year, and I know we've got under-30s in the area this year. Not that that is necessarily any help for you. :-/

Halloween
?????
Well, I am game.
I was just thinking of
if you all were
lol.
Speaking of Halloween
has anyone here had experience with ghostwriting?
Should we plan our Nano-kick-off for after school?
Or
plan it as a sort of potluck
or after dinner event?
how about a tidbit potluck around 5 or 6?

Oh yeah, that IS Halloween...
I like the after-school idea so that everyone can still celebrate Halloween the way they already intended. :D

4pm is fine by me.
I am getting excited.
I have a new MC
(loosely based on a friend of mine w/her permission)
and the MC has a very unusual take upon goings on
because of her handicap
this promises to be highly entertaining
and my friend (who I have known since spring now,)
is thinking my idea is great and she is around to coach me
so my goal will be not only to entertain the reader, but allow the reader more insight into someone's life who has this type of handicap.
Looking forward to November more and more I think about this !

4 PM fits perfectly. Get the word out. :O
I have a quick question: May I bring my boyfriend? (Were he in possession of even the slightest inkling of writing ability, he'd be co-writing my massive NaNo, but instead, he just helped a ton with character designs. So just in case this is a NaNoers-only party, he somewhat counts. Haha.)
And what is the disability that your character has, if you don't mind telling me?
I've been wanting to write a disabled character ever since I started the book series I'm reading currently. It's a simpler writing style than most, but it's sure as heck entertaining, and the characterization is amazing. One of the characters is actually blind, but he is the best cook in the group, and he's, get this, an explosives specialist. XD No, they don't Gary-Stu-ize him, but they write his character as if he's been blind for years, which he has, not like most blind characters I see that are treated like they went blind right before the book and are still crippled by it. That has always bothered me, and seeing this blind character being extremely well-adjusted to life... It inspired me to write a disability of my own, though I'm not quite sure what yet.

one of my characters would be mute
however, there are more characters with handicaps that I would like to write in to the storyline, or "a" storyline anyway.
I read a mystery where the MC was deaf. That was interesting!
Yea, boy friend can come. Interested spouses can come too.
