I've subcribed to a quite a few threads in various forums, but I'm only getting email notifications from my regional forum. I checked the notifications page and that's got the correct subscriptions on it, but the notifications aren't coming through...

I know they aren't instantaneous... sometimes they come through in batches. How long have you been subscribed to those posts?

I've not had any notifications either, although the threads I've subscribed to are listed under Pages. It doesn't seem to work if you tell the site to send notifications to NaNoMail either.

I am getting notifications of new posts and new nanomails. My wife has set herself up to receive her notifications in NaNoMail and had 85 nanomails yesterday based on updated threads throughout the day. So I think the feature is basically working, at least for some of us.
I'd like to ask folks who are having problems with this a few things to try to troubleshoot:
In some cases it simply takes re-submitting these pages to make sure that the system knows your preferences. If none of this helps, we'll try some other things.

I have manually subscribed to all the threads I have not received updates for, and have it set to subscribe me automatically. All my settings are as such that I should be receiving subscription updates through NaNoMail, but they're just not coming. I have resubmitted/saved these preferences several times already.

Have you tried an email subscription? With the changes to nanomail, the nanomail subscription may not be working.

Still not getting any. I've manually subscribed to the threads, the settings page is correct, and the only notifications I'm getting are from my regional forum... I've tried both Nanomail and email options and it's the same both ways...

Cybele changed a setting on your account but I don't know if that was on the day that the site went down or not... if it was, then the setting is likely lost and will need to be tweaked again. Cybele, can you check that again?

I'm having the same problem. The only thing I've consistently received notifications for is when people post a new thread and reply to a thread in my region's section. I've subscribed manually to threads that I've responded to and just want notifications for, and have already been subscribed when I've made new posts, and I haven't gotten any notifications for those either.

I believe the issue with your settings is that you've opted out of notifications in the NaNoMail tab in the subscriptions notification module.

I can't say for sure ... we're still trying to track the bug. But I can say that selecting "none of the above" means you won't get any notifications at all. ----------

I would say that selecting that would be what gets email notifications sent to you, because after I selected it I started getting the notifications in my email.

Notifications are really playing around for me tonight. Earlier on I was getting a digest of all posts in my regional forum and individual notifications. And the digest option wasn't ticked in the settings.
----------Still no notifications from other forums or threads I'm subscribed to though.
Now I've just got a couple of notifications from threads I viewed but did not subscribe to!

I haven't received any notifications either. I've re-submitted the pages in the Manage Subscription section, just to make sure. Under "settings" I have everything checked, on the NaNoMail page I have "receive email notifications of new NaNoMail", and my email address is correct. I can't figure out what's gone wrong!

It seems that maybe the settings you have in place at the time you subscribe to a thread are what matter. The threads I was already subscribed to before I changed my notification settings are still not producing any e-mail, however the new threads I'm subscribed to are sending me e-mail correctly.

Now, that's an interesting theory.
Could someone who is having this problem try unsubscribing from the thread, then resubscribing after you've changed your settings? The notification database may not be updating properly. (i'm not sure how that's set up.)

I don't think so. I haven't touched the settings as they seemed to be correct...
Now this morning I started getting notifications from one thread I started last night... Nothing else that I'm subcribed to, not from any of the other threads I've started, just one from last night... I've also tried unsubscribing and then re-subscribing as someone mentioned above so we'll see how that works out...
