Hey, guys! If you're in Russellville or any of the surrounding areas--Atkins, Dardanelle, Dover, Pottsville, any place else within driving distance, pretty much--check in here! I'm curious to see how many people are in the Russellville area. All of the NaNoers around here that I know are my personal friends, and I'd like to get to know the rest of you!
My name's Sarah, and I'm your Russellville ML. My buddy Katie, otherwise known as tyrotheterrible, should be around here sometime soon...she's my co-ML. We're getting revved up and ready to party this year! We have goodie bags for all of you, so I really hope that's enough incentive for you to come join us in writing and having fun this year. I'm excited.
If you're interested, our events will be found on my Google Calendar--anshin.nanowrimo. (This is the first time I've used Google Calendar, so...being the noob I apparently am, I can't figure out how to display the public version and link it. It is public, though, no worries.) Our first big event will be the interest meeting: 17 October, 4:00--6:00, in the Pope County Library's Heritage Building. Katie and I will have a tentative schedule of events (write-ins, parties, and the like) at the interest meeting, but we want to talk to you guys about what times/days would be good, how many we can expect at these get-togethers, and what locations you think would be awesome. We'll have the finalised schedule at the kick-off, no worries. (And as of right now, the kick-off will be on 1 November, since it was kind enough to fall on a Saturday for us this year.)

Sadly I won't be able to make your Oct. 17 meeting because I plan to be in Nashville, Tenn., that week, and November 1 is the CaptureArkansas (photography contest) party, so I'll miss that one, too. :( If you have any other meetings planned, maybe I can come to one of them.
