I am working on some online tools that may be available this year, but I'm not exactly sure. I do not use Excel, so some of what truckpoetry has made does not work for me.
Not meaning to hijack the thread; I just thought that this would be a good place to say that there will be some alternatives for those who do not have access or use Excel.

I took last year's report card and made a lot of modifications of my own. My version for this year is here. My favorite part is how blue it is :D
I also have a word war spreadsheet here. Up to four people can war, and it tracks how many words you write in each battle, total for the whole war, calculates how many words/hour you are typing, and adds up the total time spent writing so you can put that in your report card. Optionally, you can set a goal for the war and it will tell you how close you are to the goal. Then, just for fun, it totals up the word counts for all four people in the war so you can see how many words you wrote together, which is fun. You can put your own name in place of the Hogwarts House names, too.
