Hola all Findlay-goers!
I am azyrian, a.k.a Brittany, the unofficial, self-proclaimed Municipal Liaison of the fantastic Findlay area (because we all know that Findlay is pretty much the bomb). Last year I took it upon my underaged self to arrange several skewed meetings/write-ins/coffee bonanzas at George House and The Stately Raven.
I'd be more than willing to step up to the job again, quite unofficially, unless there are some lurking 18 year-olds out there that want to wrestle the title from my greedy hands.
So yeah.
I might get around to planning a kick-off party come the first, and if...uh, anyone has any questions or whatever, bring it on. I'll answer them vaguely. :D
Unfortunately...I expect about four people to do NaNo in the Findlay area this year. So....BE AWESOME AND PROVE ME WRONG PLEASE.
ahem

There are a grand total of four of us now from Findlay. Myself, MourningStar, MeriD and you. I would prefer to stay away from George House since I worked there for almost three years but we can talk to them about discounted coffee and pastries and then see if the Raven will host us in front of their fireplace. That would be beautiful and awesome and warm and cozy and...
Simmer, Maki, simmer.
Let me know when you get something going because I'm more than willing to meet up and bring the laptop to work with others.

Fantastic!
It's great that more people are starting to crawl out of the boring, Findlay woodwork.
I know of at least three more people that are joining in the fun this year and they all competed last year as well. Woo!
I'm all up for having meetings at the Stately Raven. We had most there last year and they were more than welcoming, whether it be to the comfy loft area or the nicely warm fireplace area...thing. And I've got an man on the inside, so we should be good to go. (:
I'm obscenely busy this weekend, what with grandparents being in town, but we could arrange a late kick-off party/write-in for next weekend. Or we could do something during the week, because hey, who needs those sleep shenanigans anyhow?
! I haven't even start yet (nor do I really know what to write on).
Let me know what you guys think!

Ooooh, yummies.
I like yummies.
I know other people that like yummies too.
I'm thinking Saturday afternoon? Possibly?
Or Sunday.
Everyone could meet up Friday night but...I have to work so it'd be without me.
Buuuut
If the afternoon works for people hoorah!
Let me know?
Happy noveling!

My sleeping schedule has been so weird lately I almost need an exact time-ish that we are getting together so I can sleep right lol.
Also let me know what goodies are requested. I have a Chocolate Chip Hazelnut Oatmeal cookie that is to die for, but I can make other things. Brownies, Breads, Cake (Death or Cake!?!?!) So just let me know and I ll bake it.

I'm not in Findlay, but I had to reply...
"Well, we're out of cake. We only had three bits and we didn't expect such a rush!"
I love Eddie Izzard!

Aie!
I'm so sorry for not replying to this sooner...I had to work. And it kill my creative flow. D:
But anyways. Does tomorrow, Saturday, at the Stately Raven around one sound good? Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiif not....banish me! Heeeeowabout not. But yeah, let me know. I know two of my NaNo friends are busy doing real life things that kinda don't count but they think it does so....There's two out. I'm going to try to spread the word.
Most likely, we'll get four. Tops.
Sooooo if you want to make those deliciously awesome sound Chocolate Chip Hazelnut Oatmeal cookie things I would probably worship the ground you walk on (while at the same time feeling lame for not having done much in the way of anything).
See you manana?

Aie! That's terrible!
We all say 'Get better soon!'
Or not.
Because being bedridden is quite good for NaNo days.
(:
Just don't break/sprain/carpal tunnel/ your hands/fingers/arms.
That would be terrible.
You would have to type with your nose/toes/other appendages.
Good luck!

Aight Findlay-ites.
I'm calling out to all of you.
This Saturday (presuming I don't work...).
George Hourse or The Stately Raven.
We're writing.
Gloriously.
Unless...no one can.
In which case I shall be there by myself.
But people should come!
And then the weekend after that
after we've all struggling and clawed our way to the end...
well have a TGIO party to put all other parties to shame!
Bahahaahhaaha.
Lemme know yo!
