Since last year, this thread managed to land me a new friend who actually goes to my school, I thought I'd revive it! Certainly there are quite a few people from Hardin county participating this year? Reply and let us all know!

I'm not *from* Hardin County, but I'll probably be in Etown a couple of times through the month of November. I'd love to attend a write-in while there if possible.

Good luck everyone!

Probably unless there's someone else...better. Or something. Barnes and Noble does have those nice chairs, though.

THIS TIME NEXT WEEK, WE'LL BE AT THE BEGINNING.

Yeah, there's pretty much nowhere else to go around here, I guess. Well, we should get all of this planned out beforehand and then stick to it. What days are good for anyone else? Never? I really don't know at this point when I'm able to do anything.

Hi Hardin County!

ML from Lexington, KY here. I'll be in Etown for Halloween and Nov 1, and would love a chance to have a write-in.

I was thinking I'd be available at about 6p-8p Saturday, Nov 1 if anyone wanted to meet at the Barnes and Noble. I'd be willing to bring along some Nano swag if you are interested and let me know who's coming so I bring enough.

Nanomail me if you are interested, as I probably won't check this forum a lot between now and then.

Cheers,

Renee

I think weekends would be best for me, since I can't drive anymore and my mom would have to take me. D: Or what about next monday or tuesday? if we don't have a road-trip, that is.

LESS THAN A WEEK, Y'ALL.

Renee, I don't think I'll be able to do a write-in this weekend, but I hope someone comes!

I am so excited for NaNo to begin, though. I cannot wait to work with my MC.

I HAVE A LOCATION FOR A WRITE IN!

The North Brach of the Hardin Co. Public Library has a confrence room and we can use it. I just need to get a good day for it. I was thinking of maybe a Friday or Saturday... in case you don't know, the library is located across the street from North Hardin High School. If you're interested please let me know so I can get a rough estimate of how many people would be attending. We can also get some refreshments and the confrence room can hold around 15 people comfortably (I don't know about table space though)

Oh! and Friday they are open from 9-6 and 9-3 on Saturday.

That sounds good. Maybe we can all schedule it for sometime next weekend?

TOMORROW IS THE BEGINNING. I am seriously too excited to get started.

Yes, next week would be good I believe. I think we might be doing some sort of a program on next Saturday but I'll have to ask. Since I work there I have an advantage =] The boss has already said it's ok to have one there, I just need to see what days would be good. We don't have wireless internet just to let everyone know.

Yay! I'm going to talk to my boss tomorrow and see what she says. I'm thinking Saturday afternoon. I found out today that there is no program set up for this weekend so we'll be ok in regards to that. I'll let you all know tomorrow what's going on. I have a few friends interested in coming as well so right now we're looking at possibly 6 people (that's a strong possibly haha)

I'll let you all know as soon as I get any more information!

Yay! This will be my first write-in =]

We have a deal! So we can use the conference room between 12-3 on Saturday afternoon(Nov. 8) . Whatever time is convienant between 12-3 is good for me. Just let me know what time you all will be coming in, and I'll be there.

We are at the North Branch of the Hardin Co. Public Library. It's located across the street from North Hardin High Shool off of Logsdon Parkway.

Hope to see you all there!

Ah, that's this weekend. I should probably let my parents know before I go. I just hope I don't have too much stuff going on so that I can go.

Oh, party crashers are most definitely welcome =] Though that might seem to defeat the purpose I suppose! And I was wondering if you all want any kind of food? I was just planning on getting a box or two of donuts and some soda/water/coffee. Let me know if any of you have specific requests. Or if you want, you can bring something of your own. Oh, and someone is going to have to fill me in on the specifics of write-ins because I have never done one =p

Anywho, let me know specifics. So far, we have between 6-8 people attending (I'M SO EXCITED!)

Can't wait to see you all there!

mcaries, I'm looking to you for a ride, but as long as that goes according to plan, I'm good to go! I'll be writing by hand, but I'm sure I'll manage. I've never been to a write in, though, so this should be interesting!

chelamarie if you can get to my house on Friday I can give you a ride on Saturday. This is my first write in as well so I am just going along for the ride, haha. I'll be writing by hand too...unfortunately.
