Hello there!
That's quite a move you'll be making, especially during November! This will be my third year doing NaNo and probably my most hectic, full class load, sports practice and possibly a job. That said I can't even imagine taking care of a young child and dealing with a big move. So best of luck to you. I've never been to an actual NaNo event but I'm looking forward to it this year, especially a TGIO party; I think I'll need it this year.

greetings xenobia!

a) which school do you go to?
b) what sport do you play (i used to tutor student athletes at UK)
c) i've been talking to some folks down closer to elmira if you're willing to trek with us...we'll probably do tgio down there. and i'm going to ask erin/lindsey to have a ny: elmira region next year for me to ml ;)

love~

sorry if i breached some etiquette there....most of the jobs i have been applying for have been in ithaca and it's about as far from my in-laws' (in horseheads) as my former home in amsterdam was from albany so making that kind of travel wouldn't be out of the question. i posted in this forum originally then when i didn't hear anything for a few days put some feelers out in the ny: elsewhere forum and got some response. i'm pretty equal opportunity as long as i've got peeps to hang with.

I'm actualy still a highschool student. I don't know that I'd be able to make it to anything in Elmira but I'd be willing if nothing was going on closer to home. I'm hoping to get a bunch of people I know interested, then I could probably get a group to go.

Hi!

I'm a grad student at Cornell, and I know at least one other person in my department who is doing NaNo as well. Last year, we had a lot of interest at Cornell -- IIRC, our MLs are Cornell undergrads. (Or were last year.)
