I went it alone last year, and while it was fun and I reached 50,000 and everything, it was.... lonely. I thought I was the only one on the whole campus who was doing it, but I recently heard that at least one other student did it last year, too.
So.... are there any AU students participating in NaNo? Because if you are, I would like to know you exist. :)

I'm not an AU student, but I am in Anderson and I'm an alumni. I'd be up for writing sit-ins at the library or a local coffee shop. :) Check out the other Anderson thread too.
