I think before the crash, someone had mentioned they were looking for contacts in this area. They had mentioned It's A Grind at NE Tarrant and Rufe Snow as a great place. Some of my last NaNo was written there. I also like the free WiFi, though now I have DSL, that's less of an issue.

I work out in Grapevine in the Olive Garden. I'm there most nights except for Thursday, so if anyone needs a sounding board for character, plot, scene ideas or just for a chat, feel free to come out and ask for me.

Because of my schedule, I'd only be able to do late night meets. But I look forward to meeting others around the area!

See you at 50K!

I don't know, but I was one who mentioned how well that location would work for me (I'm only about ten minutes from there). If no one's going to show up, though, I'll try to find some other meeting place.

I might could meet someone there for an early afternoon write in if someone wanted to meet. I could be there between 12 and 3 Monday through Friday, so any of those days would work for me. I might have a junior writer with me in that time frame :D I usually work evenings, so late night write ins might be doable for me as well.

I live in the area, and could meet there as well if anyone would like. Just decide on whenever and I'll go if I can. I go to college (UTA) full-time during the day, but I'm still going to be free most of the time Thursday through Monday.

I work over at Grapevine Mills so late night write-ins around there would be awesome for me. Just as long as it's after 10 I'm game.

I might could do that a couple of times. I usually work at the Olive Garden in GV until 10 during the week or 11 on Fri/Sat (give or take a half hour or so... usually).

We could always hit up the IHOP in Southlake.

I would love to do an early afternoon session and the GV Olive Garden is really close!

That's the one next to where the Red Lobster used to be, right?

Yep. There's Kirby's Steakhouse, a closed down restaurant - formerly Red Lobster, and then it's IHOP. We had a late night rah-rah writing session there last year late in the month. It's got a big room that is great for group write-ins, but it sadly lacks wall pluggins and WiFi! The IHOP on 635 near Olympus and MacAurthor was the same way. So, any one planning write-ins at an IHOP, bring your power strips and extension cords!
