Because advanced planning is your friend (as I have learned the hard way many, many times XD).
As of this moment, I'm planning on holding the kick-off party Thursday, October 30th at Capigiro's in Center City (exact time and address forthcoming). If that's a problem for anyone, let me know here and we'll find a way to work around it.
I also encourage those in the Philly suburbs, who'd have a problem getting to Center City events, to host their own kick-off parties and other events. I'm more than happy to help you set them up. Just set up a thread for your area, get a head-count, and I'll send you some of the ML goodies and whatever else you think might help.
