Hello, Boolprop. =D

My story's about a boy and his Earth friend and his alien friend that has to travel to mulitple parallel dimensions to save this one parallel dimension that's getting destroyed by two evil siblings, who are slowly sucking away the energy from one parallel dimension to destroy the first parallel dimension. *shrugs* I think it's a good idea. I like parallel dimensions. =)

Hey guys. I am not sure what exactly I shall be writing yet. I am playing around with a few ideas at the moment, so we'll see what happens. ^_^

Hey all, it's Sporks. :p

My story involves two diseases, one that makes people vampires or zombies. A typical end of the world sounding thing but it's not. xD Really. I have three POV I'm using. One a loner vampire Penny (who is quite a pessimist, who will amuse me. XD), another (Si) is a human, who has tons of inner-rage and is quite violent (0.o) and finally Blake, another human, who thinks he the last human alive and ends up in a crazy hospital, a suburb that gets all killed and he joins the group Si's in and becomes legally insane.... Poor guy. XD

I won't be posting it on Boolprop for it has some themes that aren't allowed to be posted on there....

Hey guys, LowPurple here.

Anyways I've got a few ideas storming away in my brain but my fav at the moment is: an adopted girl looking for her mum told in parallel with two possible mothers.

Some neat ideas from boolprop!!

I've got a plot but there's not much to say about it yet... it's really simplistic at the moment with no exciting twists. My main characters are coming along nicely though! I've got them down pretty well. I know what cars they drive, what their preferred drink is, what they have in their fridge, etc.

Also, it's Jennifer here as well. No need to call me Swiffner :)

On a random note: I have so many papers due this month I feel like I'm writing a novel in October! I haven't even started my 6 page essay yet that's due monday. I guess I should consider it practice. Warming up my typing fingers or something.

I've spent about a month trying to think of ideas. First I was going to do one about witchcraft (think Salem Witch Trials) from the view point of real witches. Then I scratched that idea and went for psychic assassins (I guess you could call them that) that would have been named "Collective Unconscious". Then I got to my fully developed work: a foreign scientist who immigrated here about five years ago (not sure the date of the book, I'll get around to it) and gets fed up with the government when they won't give him any credibility on his inventions (one of witch is a time machine). So, he goes back in time (this is an alternate history btw where no president has ever been assassinated) and assassinates US presidents that we know were assassinated today and frames people like Booth for it.

*shrug* I like the idea myself, not sure if it will work all the time. I'll need to do some light research for it.

Hehee, I still have no idea what I am going to write, I was going to do something based on Vampires, Werewolves and a human family, but I've still not had a plot hit me with the characters which I've already created so I may be going along a slightly different line - although I've been focusing all of my attention this week on homework and I'm hoping to spend an hour or two this evening sorting out the plot/characters!
Everyone else's ideas sound really, really interesting! I can't wait to read them.

Those are some pretty awesome ideas guys!
I think I'm going to go and think about what my characters are actually going to be like....

Hey guys!
I've decided to give this a try once again even though as last year I'll be working and will have even worse schedule than last years (I'm working 9 to 6 meaning I'm away from home from 7:30 to 7:15)
I'm still not sure about what I'll write, I was thinking of continuing my last year unfinished story but I will more than probably start (yet!) another one...

With work there's a 90% chance I won't complete it but I still like the idea so :p

Edit: I won't be posting it anywhere I think because I'll be writing in French... except if someone really wants me to, then I'll probably post it for friends on my LJ.
It'll be a Fantasy story and my main character will be a girl, that's all I know so far LOL

I've just finished arranging the whole "storyline". =D It's taken quite a while, but I'm ready to start coming up with the setting now.

I don't know if I'm going to post it on Boolprop or not -- I don't want to make any semi-inappropriate themes in it, so I think I'm just going to post it on a Boolprop thread and create a special LJ for it. =)

What's up guys?

I'm so very excited for NaNo this year! I've been planning my novel since about the last week in August and the idea for it came to me about a week and a half after drafting some ideas. So with a little research (actually, quite a bit) and some plot and character development, I'm all set. I know what I'm doing and I'm so ready for it. I feel really good about this novel and I'm praying I'll have enough time to actually write and finish it this year. I've never gotten past 20,000 in any of my NaNo attempts, but I'm hoping to make this year different. I am itching for November 1st to arrive!

I'm also excited to be seeing everyone else's novels! Good luck to you all. :]

Planning since August? How did you have the patience? I tried planning a nano novel in August and ended up starting to write it in August as well so it's now disqualified. Will you be posting the novel on boolprop or LJ?

I spent my bed-time / shower-time developing my idea. :P I'm so sad. I've already developed the main character's friend, but not him. xD All I know is that the main character has sandy blonde hair. LMFAO.

Mine is actually about the son of drug-lords.

EDIT: I already have a synopsis written.

Haha, I had really amazing self-control and knew this would be the novel I would just have to go through with, so I pretty much slap my hand when it starts twitching to start writing! Honestly, I don't know how I got to be this patient. The only reason I started planning so early was because I knew if I started planning this month, I wouldn't be satisfied with what I'd gotten and it'd be a lot more lackluster than if I'd started outlining my novel earlier. I guess that's what drove me.

I think I'll be posting it on both my LJ and Boolprop, but it depends on how controversial (or maybe racy would be a better word) certain chapters get.

Yey! Quite a lot of Boolpropians on board this year. :) I have way more plot this year than last, but I'm not so sure that's a good thing.

I think it can work both ways. More plot in advance definitely speeds up the writing process but can be less fun. That said, I'm in the "more plot" camp. I did the write-as-you-go method and it flopped. I barely reached 50,000 words and not a whole lot of it is salvageable... not a lot of it moves the story forward. There are a lot of scenes that are just there lol.

I'm plotting out my scenes and things are slowly starting to come together. I'm getting to the point where I just want to start writing. November can't come fast enough.

Glad to see so many people from boolprop! It's going to be a blast this year guys!!

I still don't have any idea what I'll write about LOL
Must say that between my 9 hours a day at work, 2 hours a day in the train and lately the fact that I'm moving in 3.5 months, meaning that in 2 weeks people might come and visit my flat to rent it so it has to be super clean well... not much time for plotting.
I think I'll start with some free writing on November 1st and see where I can go from there...
The challenge might be interesting anyway :p
I still don't know how I'll manage it with coming home from work at around 8 pm everday though :o

Edit: I'll probably post it on my LJ, it's the easiest way since I can go on it from work, meaning I can write while on lunch break and if it gets quieter, for those who are brave enough to read a nano in French :p

My community's actually having this festival for NaNoWriMo. =P Everyone's bringing their laptops to start start writing immediately after the clock strikes midnight. I still haven't figured out if I'm going or not, though. xP
