Sheilamansfieldbell :
You're not the only doing this for the first time, but don't worry! It's supposed to be fun, not nerve-racking, silly. Coffee... Ew (not a fan of it, sorry). Uh, stocking up on that really depends on how much you drink per morning, well, that's my logic with it. I don't know, sorry. ^^;

All I know is that I'm going to have a reward system up and going for me so that I hit the amount of words (or very close to it) per week to keep me going.

I'm a freshman at UNCW, and I was thinking there'd be more people from here doing NaNo...well, I guess I'll have to find them!

I'm in Wilmington! It's my first year giving nano a try. I'd love to have some meet ups. Anybody interested in a downtown Port City Java meeting? Maybe on Sunday afternoons?

I'm from Burgaw-Pender county about 25 miles outside of Wilmington. This is my first year doing nanowrimo and I'm nervous but excited.

Count me in. There are about a million downtown locations, but I'm thinking of the one on Market Street north of 17th. The one right by the corporate office...seems like there should be plenty of room/parking for anyone who is interested.

You mean the one that burnt down and was immediately rebuilt?

Exactly. That way no one has to worry about downtown parking.

I'm getting my prep work done a little late and just joining in on the conversation, but I'd be down for a Sunday meet-up if anyone else is.

This is my first time checking the region section.

I live in northern Wilmington (Ogden). I've never met anyone from here who does NaNo. This is my first year to actually write anything after I signed up. :)

Is there a write-in somewhere locally? That would be cool.

I have to go write now.

Godspeed, everyone.

I'm in Northern Wilmington. Just joined Nano and thought I'd say hi.
