I've done this alone for three years... I would love to meet at least once with other NaNos for my fourth go-round. :)

Heya! I live in Logansport, but I'm going to IU right now, so I'm about three hours south. Nice to know there's someone in my area though!

Hi! I'm so excited to see some writers in my area! I'm sorry I didn't check this sooner. I've been ignoring my NaNo for the last two days; decided to try and work on it some more today and attempt to catch up. lol

I would love to get together for a little write in at least once in Nov. I live in Peru, so if driving to Kokomo, my schedule is a bit more limited. I have kids in school and have to be back before 3 when they get home, evenings are pretty much out; weekends would be better.

If anyone would want to meet in Peru, I'm free any afternoon. A friend of mine from Kokomo is doing NaNo this year... she suggested this little coffee shop here in Peru called Cafe du Cirque, (delightful place with awesome coffee in real coffee mugs! ^^), and we met there this past Tuesday; although we didn't get any writing done! haha They are open until 3pm if anyone is interested. :)

I just checked my calendar... I am free on the next three Saturdays to drive to Kokomo as well. :) I've got new batteries for my old AlphaSmart, so am ready to go. :)

Ahh, Jessalyn and I are both juniors in high school, so weekdays would be out for us.

If you don't have any qualms about having a write in with two seventeen year olds, then some weekend would be awesome.

:)

Kokomo would be easier for us to drive too, and it being a saturday is also a plus.

Like, I said, if you don't mind bouncing ideas off of two seventeen year olds, then I think it would be grand to get together some Saturday!

My daughter is 17 and going for her third NaNo win, so I can drag her along too. ^^

Let me know when and where ever is most convenient. :)

Well, I shall talk to my dad.

I do not think we are doing anything.
But, I have to ask.
: )

And The Breakfast House does have the best coffee!

It is right down the street from IUK.
It is really easy to find.

This Saturday may be out for me... I seemed to have picked up either the flu or strep throat. All I want to do is stay in bed. :( If the 22nd is best, we can shoot for that; I'm not sure I'll be well enough to go any where any time soon. :(

That is still sad you are all sick.

Get well soon!

And

Oh bother...
I just forgot everything I was going to say.

It would be a forty min. drive for you to come to Kokomo though...

Thanks guys for the well wishes. I tried posting before but the site kept timing out. I seem to be doing some better. I'm slowly, slowly cranking out the words, still abysmally behind, though. lol

I know right where the Breakfast House is if it hasn't moved since I was last down LaFountain. :) If we're still on for the 22nd, what time would be best for everyone? Late afternoon is about the earliest I like to get around.

I hope everyone is plugging away with their story. It's a long road this year, but achievable. I refuse to give up. :)

Best thing ever.
Helps a lot with makeing the words come out.

You enter your goal and it will do annoying things if you stop writing.
I don't know what it does if you do not make your goal.
I don't think I want to know.

Anyway.
It's a great tool.

And yeah
the 22nd late afternoon sounds great.

Anything earlier than late is too much "Guh I have to move" time for a saturday, you know?

Hope you continue to get better!

Hi there. I got your message, but can't reply to it... it tells me you don't allow private messages.
Thanks for your compliment about my musical tastes. I'm fairly ecclectic, but those are the bands I primarily listen to on a daily basis.
Also, I was curious about what you were curious about as far as Ball State. I am not a student there yet, I hope to transfer there once I get my Associate's at the Ivy Tech Campus in Marion.

Hm... I wonder why it doesn't allow my messages... Idk

Oh I was just wondering what Ball State is like
Because I was thinking of going there.
And I am into Journilism and was wondering if you knew if it was a good place for that. :)
Thanks for responding!

You are welcome.
:)

Yay!
I am so in love with that place.

I am excited.
: )

I am a bit behind on my wordcount, but tonight is going to be one of those 'stay up all night and drink a lot of coffee at school tomorow' nights.
XD

Wish me luck!
