Come see our blog for pictures from the October 4th kick-off! The event was lots of fun (no one left until the event ended) and every attendee received a NaNoWriMo hipster PDA (2008 version) and a Message-in-a-Bottle:
Just a note on those:
- Don't open the bottle until you successfully complete NaNo this year ... OR if you find yourself about to quit.
- There is a straight pin in each bottle to help you snag the note out of the bottle. So don't open the bottle above your head where the pin might drop into your eye ;-)
