Anyone else from regional Vic?
I'm a South Western District kid (well less of a kid now..)
So where are you from? And is this your first NaNo?

Hi! *waves* I remember you from last year! I think you and I and my girlfriend are the only NaNoers from the South West, or at least so far.

Hi from Central Victoria!
This is my first NaNoWriMo. My writing bug is usually really intermittent, but I currently have plot bunnies jumping around that I'm working on taming into a workable outline and a story, and I thought that this might be a good impetus for me to get it done.

Hello there - myself and my wife (Goobie - not her real name!) are in Geelong, and are giving NaNo a shot for the first time. I have written a novel before (unpublished) and are in the process of writing a second, but am looking forward to giving that a rest and belting something out over the next month. My wife hasn't written anything of length before, so it's a real challenge for her!!
We only found about about it in the paper a few days ago, so we are frantically searching our brains for plots!!

hello fellow regionals - i am in central vic. this is my first nanowrimo. i get more done with someone standing behind me telling me to get on with it, so thank you all for joining the super-muse this month. i will not be going for the full 50,000 in the month but will be writing a few hundred words a day, and will be well pleased with that. i have written two unpublished novels but have just changed genres to science fiction and have a mass of notes to flesh out. i will be pleased to see what is there each day when i sit down to it. see you all back here in between bouts of mad typing! Good luck!

Hey all, I'm a Bendigo girl. I've checked out the Melbourne forum, but not much local action happening them.
I'm totally flying by the seat of my pants, not my choice, life has just been so busy recently that i haven't yet had a chance to plan too much (I'm sure most people have the same problem LOL). Very interested to know of any other locals that are giving nano a go :)

This is my first NaNo -- and I just hit 50k! Woooo!
By the way -- if you're regional Victorian, and not also part of the Melbourne group yet, I highly recommend it. That's where all the extreme NaNo fun is... they're a little crazy out there, but if you can make it to any of the events - it's absolutely awesome!
