Hey, you guys!

I was at Paperchase yesterday and as I was leaving, one of the cashiers said, "we'll see you Sunday?"

Which totally reminded me that we're due for a October meetup. They know it's that time of year, folks! They're expecting us! *twilight-zone music*

So! We've got a good couple of weekends before November starts. The Kick-Off is on the 31st (more on this in another thread). If you've checked the Halifax Calendar, you'll see we already have a meet on the 26th. Which is still a ways away.

All those in favour of a meetup on Sunday, October 19th, say YAY.

If the YAY vote goes through, then it'll be at 2pm until whenever we leave.

I need a headcount by Sunday!

I love that Paperchase is the one scheduling the writeups and you're simply passing it along for the vote now.

And what they all said.

Hi there.

I'm wondering what time on Sunday you'll be meeting for the first Halifax October meet-up? Have spoken with a few participants who are interested to attend but need particulars. Also is there a set time and location for the Kick Off on the 31st?

And I'll pass on some writing news for your information. All Rights Reserved, a literary journal published out of Halifax, is having a fund raiser at the Oxford Theater on the 30th--Sleepy Hollow, if you're interested to see it and help out a great cause? Also looking for submissions in fiction, graphic novels, and poetry. Any writers interested, please check All Rights Reserved Literary Journal's website.

Our Sunday meetups are usually from 2pm onwards, and we usually leave around 6pm, but some people might stay for longer. And some come earlier. Like me.

We also have a calendar of events (check the top of the Regional Lounge) which currently only has the particulars for the Kick-Off (which will be at my place) and All-Day Write-In Extravaganza (Nov 1, at the 'Chase).

I usually need RSVPs, because I need to tell the Paperchase staff how many people to expect, so tell 'em to come in here and check-in so I can give a headcount!

Several hours late for the deadline, but! I might be able to come. Depends on my shift on Sunday, but if I can I'll definitely be there! I had so much fun with you guys last year. B) ♥

This will be my first year participating in NaNoWriMo, and I'll be popping by Paperchase this Sunday to say hello and meet some of the local co-participants.

I'll be there! I went to one meetup last year before the 'Novel-Writing-Hermit-Syndrome' kicked in, hoping to stick it out this November.
