Hi -- I think we were both part of that little group that met several times at the Barnes & Noble in Joliet, back in 2004, I think. I have been attending the Naperville group on Sundays at the library near 59. But if anyone else is interested in the Joliet area, I will be happy to attend!

Are you talking about the Black Road branch? ... I suppose that's the only library that's remotely by 59 ... how many people go on Sundays? I might drop by, if you don't mind :D

I think the reference was to a library near 59 in Naperville.

I'm open to various places around the area, although Naperville is a bit of a hike for me (I'm closer to Shorewood).

I'm in Joliet right by the mall. If anyone is starting up get togethers at either the Barnes and Noble or the Black Road Branch library, I am more than game. Or even at the Shorewood Library if that's more convenient. I frequent all three places.

I live in Joliet also. I would love to get together for a write in or something.

I'm in Joliet, Black road Library sounds like a good place to me - but my schedule is tight. Suggest the day and time and I'll see if I can make it. -CHR

Wouldn't it be better for you to set the time on your free days? :3

My schedule is weird but as long as it ends before six in the evening, I'm good.

Free Days? During the Thanksgiving holidays and Nano at the same time? Where would I fit in free days?

I'm out in Newark. I just joined yesterday, so really have no hope of 50k by the end of the month. I'd be interested in meeting in Joliet or Shorewood, if the the timing worked out. Even if it was after Nano was over, it would be nice to meet some people that have done this before and pick their brains for next year.

I'll be heading out to the Black Road branch on Saturday at around noon or so, so if anyone wants to meet up I'm all for it. I'll be the short-haired girl that can't talk and will be running to the bathroom every ten minutes ... I just got my tonsils out yesterday and so far I'm just loving the liquid diet xD

Anyone up for it? I kept meaning to get to a write-in during this month and Saturday is like my last chance, unless someone can meet up on Sunday too. If someone can meet up, that'd be awesome. :D

I'm sorry I can't make it, because I live in Western Springs (if you don't know where that is, it's on Wikipedia now!). But good luck with the liquid diet thing. I've never had my tonsils out, so I don't know what that's like...but have you had your wisdom teeth out? cuz I'm most likely gonna have to, and it would be nice to really know what to expect, since my cousin kinda scared me about it, so I'd like more information from other people that have had it done. I was gonna ask Kevin about it, but in case he shuts me down...

Nah, didn't have free time the day before (or even the week before) Thanksgiving off... I was cooking for the family - kids, grandkids, etc. I've been baking for a week, cooking for two days, and am finally taking a break from the after-Thanksgiving clean-up at 4:10 pm on Friday long enough to post my novel. I'll see if I can get to the Black Road branch of the Joliet library at about 2 pm on Sat - depends on if I'm watching my grandson or not. My daughter's other babysitter may be gone for the holiday weekend, she was going to double check tonight. At worst, I'll stop in WITH him, but we won't stay long... active 7 yr old boys are NOT conducive to writing, take my word for it. I'll be the woman with the long brown hair, probably wearing a Cthulu T-shirt and possibly chasing a perpetual motion machine - um, grandson. Hope to overlap with you!
