Greasy - there's some kind of issue with the signatures. *shrug* Sometimes they're there, sometimes they're not. :-/

I had no idea it disappeared. I did subscribe to the thread so I could find it a lot faster than hunting through pages and pages of threads

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

Is this thing 'on' ?

Here I am, shovel in hand, bottle of bourbon in the other, awaiting for the coffins to arrive so we can overturn the earth. . .

Ladies and Gentlemen I have finally arrived after much delay and I have to say thank you Dale for getting this set up. It's nice to have a place to call home around here where I can be close to friends.

I have a fitting novel planned this year in relation to the title of this group. What's everyone else writing about?

Yeah, Brandon. I hear you! Dale rocks for doing this.

Okay, so me? I'm going to take a crack at a book I've been wanting to write for a long time. It's called SPICES. I've had the damn thing in my head forever, and this is just the absolute best time to transcribe this damn fever dream for once.

I've got several notebooks of drawings I've done so this puppy is ready to be born.

It's kind of scary talking about stuff you haven't written yet, and for me, it's a bit dangerous, as it can loose some momentum that way. So maybe I'll shut up until I get cracking!

November is going to be truly unforgettable, it seems.

Woo, I made it! Hey y'all, how goes? Dale does indeed rock for this, and so do you all of you. Cheers for our little horror-friendly support group of awesome.

I'm writing about faeries! Evil Appalachian Faeries! (Okay that doesn't sound very sinister, but it is a little, honestly.)

I cannot wait to dig in and get started on the new project. Lots to do in the meantime, but psyched as hell.

Who... us? Panic? Never!

;)

I am. I'm worried I'm going to lose the excitement I have for this story, like I have the others. Brandon will likely eviscerate me if I don't finish last year's project though... LOL Eventually I'll get back to it. I just really want to take this group of oddly twisted but optimistic youngsters and show them the underbelly that is New Bedlam. Or was New Bedlam. Maybe things'll change... mwahaha.

Woo-hoo! I finally got the NaNo profile set up and working like I want it to... I almost chickened out before I finished setting up house here. Now I'm glad I didn't. Hello to everyone, glad to be amongst all you great folks again. November will definitely be unforgettable. I am in a bit of a stressed-out mode over the book I'm going to write, though. Sometimes, especially if I talk about my WiPs, they just lose momentum and die in the water. This is a book I've been wanting to write (and putting off) for the last couple of years. The idea has juggled around in my head--scenes popping up at odd times, strange voices suddenly sprouting bodies in my mind that become characters--until I figured I'd better do something about it before they put me in a rubber room...

YAY - Sharon's here! *hugs*

I'm the same way - if I talk about 'em too much, they crawl back under the rubble in my brain and die. ;)

eta - don't forget to buddy this account, Sharon - I can't get into the other one anymore... LOL

Excellent title, Dale!

I'm ready to have a damn nervous breakdown. I STILL haven't finished the book I'm supposed to be writing and now I have only a week to do it. Another good example of why I'm commitment phobic. :(

Greasy from what I can tell your best work comes from being under pressure. Greasy as for EUA I pitched the idea to you last year if you remember. It's the most complete story I have in my brain right now.

Yeah, the pressure is definitely on.

Regarding your story--I don't really remember the specifics, but I do remember thinking it was an awesome idea. 3 days!!! Yikes!

It will be fun to write. I hope to give a whole new meaning to internet marketing, instant message, email, or anything relating to computers and the internet.

I'm gathering my notes and steeling my fortitude to begin bright and early tomorrow morning. We've got a good number of folks here with their shovels in their hands . . . excellent . . .
