Hello the Luxembourg Writing Posse!

It's October 8th, 20 000 people have so far signed up for NaNo and here in Luxembourg I am plotting the resurrection of our glorious posse.

So if you're out there, stretching your writing muscles, lurking in the wings ;-) or wondering when I would post the first post and proclaim the writing games open ('Lëtz Nano!'), come over here and say 'Count me in!'

Wendy, Sandal, Sam, Prince, Roderick, Duncan, David, Struan... & dogwalkerI I hope to see you & hear from you - SOON!

Lëtz write!

Plot & plan, stock up on ramen noodles & chocotoffs, pray that Auchan will have 1000 gram Nutella jars again (dip your nibs in THAT!) and drop by on these here forums!

I am totally excited about it this year - et pour cause. I have a plot, ideas for a beginning, middle and end and a brand-new MacBook & Dana (whoo-hoo, thank you again, dogwalker!). So I am ready to roque.

I will send out individual reminders to all of you and hope to see you soon!

Dying with anticipation (and hoping my t-shirt gets here on time)
I am
municipally yours

Writerly kiss
Cecile

I'm in!!!

But I have absolutely no idea yet what I am going to write! Oh well, I guess I will just start and see where the crazy world of NaNo takes me :o)

A Nutella-charged novel sounds fun. Count me in. Now if I can just find something to write about . . . .

Thanks Tunturista,

Dogwalker

I am here again, and this year I may actually have some spare time in November to cobble some words together into something that resembles a story-ette.

So there I was at 30,000 feet, dropping faster than a lady of ill reputes underwear.......

Hey Flypuppy, welcome back!

Ah underwear - I remember one of your priceless lines from a couple of years back: 'In a parallel universe, I could be your underwear.'

Haha. And you have a first line. Seems to me you're all set!

See you soon, at a kick-off party near you.

Ciao
Cecile

Hey guys!

I'm actually not staying in Luxembourg at the moment (i.e. I probably won't be attending any meetings, unless I happen to come back) - first year of Uni in Bath! - but I will be participating as a Luxembourg member (haha, so much work. X_X) Trying my best, at the very least!

Hey, everyone!

Am I the lone newbie? Guess so. Anyway, I'm looking forward to trying this crazy experiment (my drug of choice: Oberweis chocolate), and I have to admit I'm making my presence known more to stop myself from chickening out than anything else... Plot, what plot?

Cheers!

emmtilt - who needs a plot when you have Oberweis chocolate?

I like honesty in a writer. 'Tell the truth' is the only writing mantra you need. You just did:

Oberweis. No plot. And no chickening out either.

I like you already.

Off to find a fabulous quote for my signature.

Tunturista (who has a plot so hot it would melt ALL the chocolate in ALL of Oberweis. Schoklasmëllech, anyone?)

Hello All!

I am following emmtilt's lead and making my presence known as well. Emmtilt is not the only one - I am a newbie as well, and am looking forward to the month of insanity. I have a plot in mind and a whiteboard full of ideas - any advice to make it through the month?

Cheers and good luck!
