I know there are a lot of wrimos with children (often young children) and finding time to write, or get away to a write-in can be a pain. I also know we have a lot of high school/collegiate/retired-type folks who might enjoy picking up some gas money with an occasional babysitting gig. (Non-writing friends and spouses are especially helpful for this)
No time like the present to bring both groups together!
If you're reliable and love kids are are able to offer free / discounted / reasonable babysitting rates, shout out.
If you're a swamped parent needing a break from the kiddos, post your cry for help here.
Also, parents, you might have some luck arranging playdates, trips to the park, etc to buy some writing time. A babysitting time-share, if you will.
