Anyone planning on checking out any of the films this year? Or better yet, anyone volunteering? I'll be at various venues all day Saturday (11/8) and Sunday (11/9) taking tickets and/or ushering in case you want to come say hi! (Yes, the festival doesn't start until November 6? but I'm excited that I get to be a ticket-taker this year!)
If you are interested in volunteering, the person to e-mail is CCorder@ashevillenc.gov. Ticket taker slots fill up FAST so email her asap if you're interested! Otherwise you'll get to do what I did last year, which was man the "will-call" ticket station. Which wasn't lame just not as cool as seeing movies for free when you're not working. ;)
