Anyone on here from Toronto, and currently in high school? If so, which one?
Good luck to everyone!

*Waves* I'm supposed to be in grade ten, but all my classes are grade nine. I go to Eastern, and the guy that got stabbed there last year was my friend's boyfriend. Basically, I go to the school where people are always getting arrested and it's starting to make me paranoid.

That sucks. I don't even go to school in Toronto...I'm out in the suburbs (but I'm in Toronto often). We don't have many stabbings...shooting...etc...at my school, but at one of the school, maybe 20 minutes away from mine, always has something happening. They're right across from a park so there's always a stabbing, or a drug deal...or something.

Honestly, I'm glad I am where I am.

Oh, wow. o.o I'd be scared to go to Eastern xD
I'm grade 10 as well. Danforth Tech. But I'm the opposite - I've got a lot of 11 classes.

Tenth grade in Victoria Park C.I, the one that had a two and a half hour lock down two weeks ago. I'm enrolled in the IB prep-program, which is why I'm typing this at 1:15 am, haha. I haven't had any creative writing since I got into highschool, poo.

More IB people - awesome! I'm an IB grad, and we had another one or two around last year (whom I haven't seen on the boards yet this year, but just wait...).

Welcome!

IB is a schooling system sort of. It means 'International Baccalaureate'. Some schools offer it.

Wish mine did >_<

I'm out of Toronto but this is the closest NaNo location for moi so here I am =]
Grade eleven. Anyone else in grade 11?

Not in high school, but a high school teacher. At a school out in Etobicoke, but not one that typically has much in the way of lockdown-type problems. Not so far, anyways. Just sayin' hi!

The school almost got locked down yesterday. I got searched today. This school is giving me a mental breakdown and a half.

I can't do math so I couldn't do the IB program. I skip too much school, too. But that's another matter altogether...

*Waves to the Danforth person* Muahahahahaha I know your school now. It's sorta near my school. Your hall monitors, one of them hates me. So there.

And Errol, we went over this. I'm fifteen. You're three hundred and eleven.

Just you got searched? Poor Lith, picked on at school.

Just one?

:D

Don't worry Lith. I don't hate you. You were all surprised that we were excited to see you in chat. Good grief.

Hehehe, really? I'm kind of scared of them all... xD Luckily, though, I don't know any of them too well.

Wexford C.I. school for the arts! :D I live in East York, though, so it takes me a long time to get to school. -.-"

By Eastern, do you people mean East York C.I., cuz I would kinda hate to go there. I mean, I have a bunch of friends who go there, but I'd just never go myself. I mean, my home school was Leaside, even though I live 5 minutes away from East York. xD

Allo Mignonette!

Vicky, as I said, was telling us all sorts of things about you. :)

Since you sorta know me in real life... but not really... my behaviour on the boards is... er... all just an act! My online persona.

Ya... uh... don't believe a word anyone says about me on this forum. They're all crazy. Especially Lith.

Wexford!
Are you in the arts program or the mainstream/normal/whatever you want to call it? And, if you are in arts, do you know a Sage or a Daniel? (The first is music/theatre or something, the second an AMAZING artist)

I feel young... I'm still in middle school. *sob*

But I WILL go to Wexford next year! *determined* Yeah, everyone says to go to Wex rather than Rosedale. 40% of grade 10s drop out 'cause the academic program isn't great.

I'm in Visual Arts, and no, I dunno Sage or Daniel. D:
I live so far away from Wexford..I doubt it's possible for it to be my homeschool.

and it's just music theatre. not music/theatre.

Ooh, I was wondering that too. I never have. But it'd be cool.
