ML for the Bahamas, getting: Access denied
Did I miss something, or can this be fixed please. We look like this may be our biggest year yet down this way.

Are you the ML? It doesn't look like you're configured to be. You should email Lindsey. I don't think she checks in on the forums that often.

I just double checked... you're not set up as the ML for that region, and you're not flagged as an ML. I'm not sure why you'd be getting access denied, though. What are you clicking on?
When did you apply?

I have been the ML for several years now and think I did whatever came my way to indicate what to do for this year. Perhaps not, but, while I am happy to keep on with my minor ML efforts and already look to have more interest this year than any prior year, I don't have a lot of extra time this year to chase down bugs and what not.
I am trying to get some traction behind the idea of hooking Nanoers who write lyrics and musicians who will turn those lyrics into actual recorded songs during the month. And also having lyric writers provide lyrics for already recorded songs for inclusion into nano novels.
Inter Discipline Synergy?
I will take a quick run at fixing this from my end, but if it gets too time consuming, I will just have to pretend unless someone else from our region steps up.

That's the best policy; Lindsey really doesn't have time to read the forums, so contacting her directly is the best bet. However, it can take her some time to get things set up... she's behind.

Yup.
Filled out the form and also sent off an email. I am not in a rush so once it gets done things will be cool.

I also got an access denied message today, when I followed a link from what I think was an email sent to via the ML contact form.
After the body of the message, there was this:

but when I clicked on that link, I got an access denied message.

Zotz - what exactly are you getting access denied on? The ML forums?
hhw - that little link can just be ignored. All the forwarded emails from the form are logged in the system. (There's a way to just have them queue on the site and not use email at all.) Sorry about the confusing link. I'll see if I can take that out of there. But in the mean time, it's not big deal ... it would just take you to a display of the email on the site kind of like nanomail, but you can't answer them using the site so it's kind of silly to open it up for the MLs.

Okay, this is because of two reasons:
1) You're not actually set up as an ML, and those require ML-level permissions to access (I get access denied as well on the ML area... how bout them apples!)
2) The second is actually disabled for even MLs, for some reason (we're working on that one.)

Hi - I noticed Drew wasn't down as an ML in his area, but assumed he'd stepped down. Sorry I didn't pursue that. If Drew has emailed Lindsey, hopefully it will be fixed soon. The link for viewing the affiliates in a region is enabled for the ML's own region, just not for other people's regions. So, once Drew is back on the ML list, he should be able to see the info. in that second link.

I am ML for the region again. I will report other issues as I find them.
