Inspired by mike_a who made a NaNoNewbie NaNoFlub in referring to us as NaNoWriMoers instead of Wrimos (Which I was quick to point out that his makes more sense as National Novel Writing Monthers as opposed to Writing Monthers...or does it?...I don't know.)
Anyway...his word choice prompted my response which contained several of my favorite invented NaNo words such as:
NaNoNeeds which can be anything from sleep, chocolate or coffee depending on the occasion.
NaNoBuds which can be friends or beer again depending on the occasion.
NaNoJitters which is what I am feeling right now.
NaNoFrenzy will take over on November 1st.
NaNoFreedom on the 30th.
Finally, NaNoBlues which happens on or about December 1st.
So I thought it would be fun to add your favorite NaNoWords to The Shenandoah Valley NaNoDictionary!

LOL I love these! Oh, and there's some NaNostuff I have/do but not exactly sure they'd fit in an actually fit in a NaNoDictionary!
It all starts with the NaNoWallpapers I go searching for in October to inspire me and help me to keep up on my word count before I get confused on where I'm supposed to be which particular day.
They lead to the NaNoIcons which I become addicted to in November that go in my...
NaNoLJ or my NaNoBlog which is my escape online where I do most of my...
NaNoRanting when ramble on and on as well as venting, screaming, yelling, and/or crying when I can't figure out my plot or characters or I am feeling the effects of NaNoFrenzy.
There's also the NaNoHaze where you are somewhere in publc but begin to stare off into nowhere because you are either writing your NaNoNovel in your mind or you're simply confused and can't quite figure out where you are or how you might have gotten there because the last thing you remember is writing at home.
NaNoCramps are what you get in your hand when you either write too much on paper or you're typing too long at the laptop/computer and can no longer feel your fingers/fingertips/wrists because your trying like mad to finish your NaNoNovel.
NaNoProcrastination which is what I am doing now when I should be figuring out character names at least or working on ideas and such. This becomes a dangerous situation when it is the middle of November and you're nowhere near your 25,000 words you're supposed to have.
That is all I have. I think. For now. LOL

Wow Deanna! You just wrote 282 words! 1/5th of the way to a day's word count. Of course, 13 of your words were misspelled...they all began with NaNo. (Yes I copied and pasted it into Word...I need help!)

LOL All those red squiggly lines were driving me insane as I was posting! Then I thought, hey, ignore them and get ready for NaNoWriMo and the whole Ignore your inner editor mantra!! *beams* Although I hadn't realized all that rambling led me to 1/5 of the way through a NaNoDay! Hey, another one! Cause NaNoDays can go a full 24 hours if we're stuck and trying to get the word count for the day and refuse to stop writing until we get the 1667!
