Not Quite, I'm about 65 miles east in Sugar City.

How about Rocky Ford? Close to Sugar City and a little way from Pueblo.

Good question. I just got this crazy notion to sign up this morning. I am supposed to be finishing up my homework for an online writers conference. Better get to work and finish it up, so I can start outlining for this.

Mine will most likely be a Romantic Suspense since that is what I like to read, and what I have written in the past.

What are you writing?

~L~ Sounds like me, I'm way behind on my homework, probably going to do some catching up this weekend and maybe get my degree by sometime next year.

I'm not even sure what my writing falls under, they just keep putting it under General Fiction. But it has a lot of horror elements from murder to classic monsters, vampires, werewolves, etc. but it's really about the main character's life so there are some drama elements too.

I already got one book published, I'm trying to write the sequels, I got one done but its like the 4th book in the series, last year I tried to get the second one done, still working on it. This year, maybe I'll work on the 3rd or might try something else. Not sure yet.

I can see how it would be hard to clasify your stories. They could fall under several different Genre's. They don't sound like General Fiction to me though. But then what do I know? I don't read anything like you're describing so I couldn't say. Hopefully when you have the next one ready for print someone will have a better idea what genre to put them under. I for one don't think to look in General Fiction when looking for a certian type of book. Maybe I should, I might learn something.

Shouldn't pueblo have it's own region. There are as many people here as there are in some of the smaller regions.

Yea, I was hoping they'd just put it under horror, but it isn't necessarily a "pure" horror type of novel. I have a couple of friends that read sci-fi romance type novels, they liked it.

Last year I didn't see too many posts from people in the Pueblo region, I think that is why they haven't given it a seperate form.

I'm another Pueblo-ite -- or whatever we're called. Can't wait for Nov. 1st! To get a region I think the first thing we need is an ML to volunteer! Maybe there's more to it than that.

~L~ Who knows, hey I'm perfectly happy just posting here...then again I'm in Sugar City...250 people, if no one had died recently.

Nano is always a good time, a challenge and to be creative, its all good. Of course I didn't finish last year which was a bummer, oh well can't win them all.

The day dawned bright and cloudless (aren't they all?) to an unusual sight -- people, hunched over computers, typing furiously those first thousand words. Good luck all! :)

I was totally surprised when I saw Pueblo didn't have it's own region.
But at least it got it's own topic! Technically I'm Pueblo West, but it's basically the same thing.

Well if you know of more that are doing NaNo tell them to speak up and post then maybe Pueblo could earn its own area. Of course you could always write the Administrator(s) of the board and ask for one. ;)
