I might be able to make it to Bard College (my alma mater) but I'm not sure I'll be able to take the time off writing! I'm in Warwick. Anybody close by?.............Lois

I'm in your area several times a week. Is this your first NaNo?

Looks to me as if we have an Orange County Cluster. I'm actually just over the border in Sullivan but I'm in both Goshen and Warwick several times a week. Shall we try to plan a kick-off party or a Nov. 1st write in? How many of you have done NaNo before and what do you write? I see Panera is an often chosen spot for others in the Hudson Valley. There's one in Middletown.
Is there one near any of you?
Two more days, but who's counting????? Alexis

Hi Lois,

Like you, I don't want to travel too far. It interferes with my writing time. I'm in Warwick fairly often. I bet George at Baby Grand Books wouldn't mind if we had a write-in there. What do you think?

Across the river people are using Paneras. There's one in Middletown if that appeals.

somehow november has turned into an insane month for me. i think most of my free time for writing will be between ten pm and two am...so sadly i don't think i'll be making it to anything...but i'm great for online support.

If you NaNo, November always turns into an insane month. I think it's an insane month before we add NaNo into it ,and then it spirals. The busiest people seem to get the most writing done. Good luck with your owl writing! It's one of my favorite times too. The phone doesn't ring, new emails arrive infrequently and solitude has its way with me. I have a week in VA for the holidays so I'm hoping to get a jump start before then. Otherwise I'm doomed! :>)

A write-in around here would be great. I was planning to go to the Westchester one, but less time spent travelling means more time for writing. I'm fine with wherever.

I'm not the only literate person from Sullivan? *high five*

And I won't be able to attend anything until all the way at the end of the month, when I come home for break.

Hi all you pounding the keyboard NaNoers.

I couldn't get on this site until today. (11/10/08) I see I have some mad writing to do to catch up!!!! Still interested in doing some write-ins if anyone else wants to. I thought Paneras in Middletown could work. I'm available most weekends and some weekdays. Wednesday evening not. This week actually all my evenings except Friday are full up. Makes me crazy. Life does hot up as soon as one takes on this kind of project. Happy Writing.

Hi,

I'm not far from Warwick. I live in Westtown. When I desperately need to walk on sidewalks (born and raised in NYC) I head to Warwick. Are there other writers in Warwick. I'd love to meet up with other writers. Lately I've been heading to the Borders Cafe in Middletown for their Caramel Lattes when I feel the need to escape the house.
