just thought i'd start another thread for the winners

*puffs out chest* like myself lol

but i figure its fair to have braggin rights at SOME point after Winning NaNo right?

it feels relieving to have won for me, if i never see that 'novel' again i dont think i'd be TOO hurt to live lol

Writing the last k was a shocker i ended up surprisingly killing my favorite chracter (the dog) and felt a good bit of loss :S

Reward, I like the reward system but this year i dont think i'll be getting myself anything grand...(last year i ordered watercolour pencils i really wanted for a long time for my art projects) This year i ordered a NaNo travel mug but it hasn't gotten here yet >.< and its almost been a month since i ordered it, will be by tomorrow infact :S. It was the sensible choice because i'm always on the go and have been missing breakfast and dont have one. Why not have one that sports writerly goodness? I wish it had a handle very badly though...

Is it me or is the Winning certificate kind of plain this year?

This is too cool to have all these Caribbean nations represented here. I'm originally from Texas, but married a St Lucian and have been living here for 3 1/2 years. I write extensively about the Caribbean and would love to know some of the "little known" places and things about your islands. Throw me some bait! Before you start writing and get too busy...lol

caribbeanmuse, metioned in the introduction thread about other regions having a mascot and what about the caribbean having one too.
i think its a great idea! But i also thought it would be cool for the inroiduction thread to stay focused on introduction lol so i thought it'd be cool to give the topic its own thread :)
what do you guys think?

it'd be nice if we could think of something mainly found in the caribbean :S
i thought of our turtles but lol That might not be a very possitive mascot for nanowrimo hu?

If there is anyone out there though, come on in, introduce yourself or just say hello. To start it off, if I may:
